:hello: Hi all
It's absolutely pouring here!Managed to get out to
buy provisions first thing, before the heavens opened.
Thankfully it's still very mild.
I'm almost ready for Xmas, sort of. :undecided The Christmas lights
I've put up outside my house look really sparkly & pretty. All
battery operated too, so no need to worry about plugging
them in!
Hi wingo  Lovely to 'see' you. Enjoy your well-deserved
Xmas break. :rudolf: I've chosen to enter only a few advents this
year, couldn't cope with anymore! :rotfl::rotfl:
Lovely puddy forgave me in the end fire**fly. Typical cat!She
even decided to sleep in my room two nights running, I felt
honoured! Except that she was curled up (in a tiny ball) very
close to me, which meant it was really difficult to turn over, or
even move. I'm guessing that's why she chose to sleep
elsewhere after two 'not so comfy' nights! :rotfl::rotfl:
Very well done with your latest wins indie. :j Love the sound
of the Cadbury ultimate selection box! :T
Hope you had an enjoyable lunch with your brother leanfun.
Can't believe it'll be Christmas a week from today! Yikes!
Have a lovely rest of the day all, take care.

hope you had a lovely time with your brother leanfun :A
awwww lol @ puddy again Alfie must admit it's lovely when
they do cuddle up & sounds like you're same as me as
don't like disturbing them so we end up sleeping in same position & daren't turn over.. get cramp & feel guilty if we do wake them lol, ..
lol, found this pic sums it up ..please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
There was a cold wind on the Kent coast but not as cold as last time we went.
Rose sounds freezing your way. Heard from ex Dil she said GKs only have a short walk to school so were ok but her journey to work was something else. Grea5 your DIL looks after you.
Alfie well done on outdoor lights. Lo at your paddy. Firefly great pic.
Spoke too soon about my brother after I wrote her he left a message to say he didn’t feel up to going out. So we just dropped off presents. We took DS our and had breakfast food but enjoyed it.
It was only as we drove back into London that we hit the rain so we were very lucky.0 -
Hi everyone,
Having a nice time in Lancashire. Had been having nice weather but today was mainly torrential rain! In Blackpool now so hoping tomorrow will be ok. We are going to theatre for "Wizard of Oz" tomorrow night. Been entering a few Advents while away.
Going to get a daily transport ticket for buses and trams and travel about.
Been eating nice cheap meals with Meerkat offers and 40% off Beefeater tonight as too wet to venture far from hotel. Used my Costa vouchers for Gingerbread and cream lattes which were amazing!
Well done to the prize winners and good luck to all.

Wow well done this month Firefly. Some nice wins. Great you had some success with comps.
My £50 Asda voucher came today.
Spent some time this evening sorting out tomorrow ‘s Tesco order. We booked the slot ages ago but when I went to put order in most of the offers ended yesterday. Do hope it arrives. Last time they came for a holiday in the summer the order was delayed four days by accidents.
Let’s hope there are some advent wins to come.0 -

.Hope you enjoyed the Wizard of Oz sheils and the weather held for you.
Fingers crossed you get all your shopping leanfun. My sons GF, has been helping the pickers when she is on shift as they are so busy at the moment trying to get all the orders for food sent out. She said it's manic on the tills with people buying everything in sight, lol. I am so glad i have nearly finished my food shopping, only need a little veg and bread and milk then that is it.Hope you all have a lucky day.0 -
:hello: Hi all
Well, after quite a bit of rain on & off this past few days,
we've now had beautiful sunshine for most of the
day.Took myself off early to the supermarket this
morning to get a few last bits and pieces, (it was already starting
to get manic!), also topped the car up with petrol, checked the
tyres etc - so nearly there (says I!).
Apparently tomorrow is the favourite travelling day for anyone
planning to go away for Christmas - it's been estimated that 21
million cars will be on the road! _pale_
Had a bit of a scare a couple of days ago - I'd just thanked
sheils' post when my screen went blue and crashed. Usually it's
been pinging back on ..... but this time it came back with
various messages of doom & gloom. After a couple of very
long hours, I finally managed to get most of it back, it's now
up & running albeit a little slow. I'm really not keen to post
using my iPad because I haven't got a clue how to put images
etc on. So ..... little lappy lives to see another day .... just!
Also had fun and games in the upstairs bathroom. The water
in the sink was taking an age to go down the plughole then it
stopped completely. So, I located my trusted plunger & plunged
away.
After a lot of gurgling, the water finally disappeared only to
reappear in the bidet!!! To make matters even worse, the
bidet was filled with both my granddaughters bath toys, now all
floating in a yukky mess. _pale_
I swiftly took myself off to the local hardware shop to purchase
a bottle of super duper drainpipe cleaning gunk which thank-
fully worked a treat. I then purchased spray disinfectant to
thoroughly clean all the little bath toys. I can laugh about it
now - but at the time ...... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Sorry to hear that your brother wasn't well enough to go out
for lunch in the end leanfun, though lovely you were able to drop
off pressies and treat yourselves to breakfast with DS. Great your
Asda voucher arrived. Hope all goes well with food delivery
tomorrow.
Hope you enjoyed seeing the Wizard of Oz sheils. Good idea
buying a daily transport ticket for buses and trams to get
about - love the sound of gingerbread and cream lattes! :drool:had a good month here with some wems from mags dailies & yourdog

just about ready for Xmas. I've also been buying festive treats

drinkies!

about Christmas now! :xmassmile :rudolf: :xmastree:

your plans.
