Afternoon, we have had sunshine all morning but dark clouds are coming over now. Kids are funny, my son was 11 before he agreed to see a pantomine he kept saying no but enjoyed it when he finally went. Glad to hear you have a back up plan leanfun, always good to have one. I have a few foodie bits to get then i have everything in for christmas.Been really organised this year which makes a change,lol.0

Been a lovely day here .Got bedding and towels about dry, went to next town to visit larger Tesco and Wilkos so organised now too. Delivered a card while there as well - hate paying for postage unless necessary!
Managed to get a nice walk in this afternoon so must get some comps entered tonight.
No sign of any wins here but have been doing a few advents so fingers crossed. Only got £3.30 on Quidco too so going to give up on it. It is on for 20 days and too many people entering for too few prizes I think.
DD and her bf are away to Edinburgh to the Xmas market and having a night there so they should have a nice night with all the lights etc.
Must get on.
Good luck all.

:hello: Good morning
Hope you're all in fine fettle on this glorious Monday
morning & had an enjoyable weekendIt's going to
be another sunny day here much the same as
yesterday.
I've had such a busy weekend, flying here, there & every-
where! I was fairly pleased that Sunday was a decent
weather day because there was quite a bit of gardening
that I needed to catch up with so enjoyed a great couple
of hours pottering about. Still a fair bit to do, may be able
to tackle a bit more today, time permitting.
I'm sort of more of less ready for Christmas here, just have
to put the outside lights up (either today or tomorrow) also
must buy some more Christmas cards today, I never seem
to buy enough!
Most pressies are wrapped, just a couple left to do. So
excited about the family Xmas get-together ..... not long
now! :rudolf: :xmassmile
Has anyone been watching 'I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out
Of Here!'? :eek:I'm so pleased that Harry Redknapp
won - such a lovely, down to earth man. Well deserved! :T
Holly Willoughby was brilliant and so funny - especially
during the 'squeamish' trials! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well, another busy day ahead, no rest for the wicked!
Have a lovely & lucky day all and please take care whatever
your plans.

Morning, I stopped watching the show many years ago but Harry did well winning.Maybe it was a good job he never watched it before or he might have changed his mind about going in,lol. It was a lovely day here yesterday but i was working so didn't get anything done, it is dry and cold here at the moment hopefully i can get some washing out later. Hope you all have a lucky day.0

Cold here today. We came back from my friend’s funeral in Ipswich yesterday. She was a great age 94. and service was a true celebration of her life. She had four children and lots of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was one of the first people we met when we married 45 years ago. Today they brought her locally to be buried with her husband. It was very cold at the cemetery but the sun came out.
Alfie and Indie I never watched even a whole programme of the show but have occasionally followed it. With so many football fans here we followed what was happening this year. I agree with you Indie had he watched it before he would never have gone in. He thought that they had a food caravan out of sight!
Postman just brought a win for a DH of a CD. Music comps don’t go through on my yahoo email so he enters on an iCloud email.
Well better try entering some comps today. Good luck with the advents.
Hope everyone is keeping warm.0 -
hiya all  good to see everyone's just about organised for christmas :xmassmile :T
been very cold here but still am getting out to the gardens
early in the mornings to keep birds/squidgees etc filled up,
foxes still come late in the evening so always try to put a
few scraps out for them.
not been watching i'm a celeb alfie sorry,
had to smile at your puddy having a go at the tree
sorry to hear about your friend leanfun xx
well done to DH on the CD win :j
big thanks as always all for the news/pics etc :A
i try to keep up & always enjoy popping in here when got time,
keep warm & hopefully keep winning all xplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Hi Firefly great to see you. Thanks re DHs win. He was surprised.
We all keep thinking if great you are still able to feed the birds even though it’s been brrrr.., out there.
Very sunny this morning.
Hope everyone is ok and warm.0 -
:hello: Good afternoon
Brrrrr! It's a beautiful sunny day here but my goodness there's
a really chilly wind.Popped out briefly this morning to post
some more Christmas cards and was very thankful to get back
indoors again.
Received some sad news from my daughter yesterday. Son-in-
law's Grandad passed away. He was a lovely gentleman & so
proud of his Grandson - the funeral's on the 27th, (down
my way), so we're all coming back to mine on Boxing Day, &
while DD & SIL are attending the funeral, my son & I will be
looking after the two little girls. :grinheart
The service will be a celebration of his Grandad's life & SIL will
be wearing full RAF sdu, complete with medals, as he did for
my DHs funeral. :A
LOL indie and leanfun re King Harry! He did make me laugh
when he thought there'd be a van round the back of the set
with bacon sarnies etc! :rotfl::rotfl: To be honest, I've never
watched a full series of 'I'm A Celeb' before now. I just
preferred that they all got on so well this year. It made a
welcome change from the majority of the older series, when
they were into back-stabbing and constantly arguing with each
other!
Also admire Anne Hegerty, so that was another reason for
watching. Must admit, I couldn't look when they had to do
some of the awful trials - yuk, horrendous! _pale_
Very well done to DH for CD win leanfun! :T :j
Lol at puddy & the tree fire**fly!Recently, she's been
sitting, (just like a little gnome), right in front of said tree
(actually looks as if she's praying, giving thanks or
plotting! :rotfl:), then suddenly launches herself at her
chosen branch .... makes me jump every time! :rotfl:
:rotfl::rotfl: Bless her little heart!
Have a lovely Thursday all and please take care whatever your
plans.

Morning, another cold day here but no wind so should be a little warmer than yesterday. Had to laugh at your puddy Alfie, sitting there plotting.
I have had a couple of advent wins over the last 2 days. Won £20 on the nursing one and got an email from Little bird telling me i had won day 6 "a push along scottie dog",lol. So not doing too bad on them. . It's going to be delivered today,so that was quick.Hope your having some luck this month.0 -
Morning. Well done on wins Indie. Love it when the prize comes quickly.
Alfie I too laughed at your paddy plotting. Sorry to hear about your SILs granddad. Great you and your DS will be able to help with the children for the funeral.
Cold here now went to post office with parcel for Scotland and it was blowing a wholly. Forgot to put on Woolley bobble hat I found recently.
Take care everyone, keep warm and good luck.0
