Good Morning all,


Been pretty windy here but ok just now, sun thinking about shining I think. Got bedding to hang out so hope so! Supposed to be high winds and sleet here tomorrow. Heading off on Sunday so glad we are at home tomorrow.

Hope you have heated up now leanfun. I didn't put my gloves on yesterday when we went for a walk and I was freezing. Won't do that again. It had been so mild earlier in week.

Afternoon folks hope you are all well. Not been on for a while but still been comping sporadically. Had a box of Malteser Buttons delivered on Monday ( 20 £1 packets) so GK's are happy. Well done to winners will read back later.

Yesterday I had a WEM from ASDA to say I have won a £50 voucher. I found the comp and there were a lot of prizes for that comp and sure enough someone else had won £50 too. We don’t have an ASDaA that near but there’s one near DS. I also won 20p on the humming bird.

:hello: Hiya all


It's been blowing a hooley here today, strong winds and non-
stop heavy rain. It's not so windy now but still chucking it
down. I think we've had it easier down my way than some
other parts of the country though. Freezing rain sounds
scary! :eek:


At one point, the weeny birdies were clinging on to the feeders
for dear life! On the other hand, all the worm/bug loving birds
were in their element, all happily feasting away.


I've been keeping myself fairly busy indoors today .... hanging
up Xmas decs in the little GDs bedroom, including making them
a sparkling snowman picture complete with robins. :snow_grin I really
had fun making it, using scraps of this and that, including an
awful lot of cotton wool, felt and glue! Thankfully, 'mummy's
little helper' was sending up the zzzz's while I was busy
creating, thank goodness.


In fact, she's not speaking to me at the moment. I managed to
give her a dose of Profender (on the back of her neck) yesterday
evening, while she was sleeping. (Has it every three months).


Well, she immediately woke up, gave me the filthiest of looks,
flounced upstairs and totally ignored me for the rest of the
evening/night. She's slowly 'allowing me' to approach her
today :rotfl: but eyes me suspiciously to see if I'm hiding
something in my hands ..... as if! :rotfl::rotfl:


Lovely to 'see' you rose, hope you're keeping well & on the
mend. Have a safe journey tomorrow sheils, and a wonderful
time.

Hey everyone :wave: just a quick pop in from me again! I decided to do a few advents tonight. I've only been doing the tombola one but I really miss doing the advents, it can be just a bit overwhelming by the amount!

Hope everyone is well and there's lots of winners on the advents here.
Is everyone prepared for Xmas then? I've still got a couple of things to do but I can't wait till we break up Friday! Might even go and get sozzled! :beer:

Morning, been busy at work the last couple of days but have a few days off now.Good luck with the advents wingo. I have had another couple of wins. A cadbury ultimate selection box. Never heard of it so checked what it was and it's 28 different bars of chocolate so son and GF are happy,lol.Also got a kids DVD in post yesterday but no note so don't know where from but is great for one of my nephews. Got a few bits left to pick up from shops then all my shopping is done. Hope you all have a lucky day.

Morning. Not so cold now. Hi Wingo great to hear from you. Roll on Friday for you. Agree about advents. I decided to pick and choose so have not found it too manic.
Indie well done on wins. Hope you have restful days off. Sounds as if you are very organised. We are nearly there.

Morning folks. Really cold here and had some heavy rain a little while ago. Have to go out later so hope it stays off. DIL is picking me up. Just about finished Christmas shopping. Did most of it online. Just got odds and ends to buy. Must remember to post cards as I keep forgetting to take them with me when I am out. Hope everyone is keeping warm.
