Hi all,


Been a dreadful day here, rain ,rain and more rain!
Was at my parents this morning helping them with Xmas cards - can't believe how many they send.



Well done on the wins indie. The make up will make a great Xmas present. (Was after it for DD!)


Won 2 x £3 Costa Coffee vouchers this morning. One for me and one for DH. Think they have stopped paying them out now.
The way things are going ,will probably be all I win.

Morning,another wet start to the day here.Well done on the Costa wins sheils, always useful when you are away if you want to pop in for a coffee.
Got no plans as yet for the day, may just potter around doing some housework. Hope you all have a lucky day.

Sheils well done on Costa win. I just realised yesterday that I have bought nearly all the Christmas presents but forgot to buy cards. I don’t send very many but need to buy some.

Managed to make a start on the bedrooms yesterday so come Christmas only light cleaning.

Loads of Advents but I’ve struck to a few so still happy doing them and not overwhelmed. Let’s hope there are more wins to come.

Been a wet night here and wind started now - not enjoying winter!
Hope everyone is getting organised for Xmas. Think I am about there and looking forward to a few days break just before it,including a visit to the theatre to see The Wizard of Oz.
Been playing the new Quidco game but only won £1.30 so far and it is time consuming. It hasn't been a very lucky year for prizes for me but suppose there are a few more days left!

Hope you're all ok. It's a wet n' wild start to the day here....

I need to get food provisions in at some point but will wait until
later when it's a bit calmer!


Stayed in yesterday because little car was in for MOT & winter
service - lovely local chap picked it up first thing, (he does
servicing, MOTs, repairs etc - very handy for me). He brought
it back later on in the day and yay - it sailed through. :j Must
admit, I've been very lucky with this little secondhand car,
never had any problems. (Touch wood!).


Also had to wait in for last two Xmas pressies to arrive. I'd
ordered them from Argos and opted for home delivery (in case
said items were sold out) & was pleasantly surprised when I
clicked to pay, to see that I wouldn't be charged for delivery! :T
Fairly made my day. :j Obviously a lovely goodwill gesture to
customers. :xmassmile


Finally finished decorating the tree yesterday evening! And
no - baubles didn't distract puddy cat from chewing the
branches as I'd previously hoped!


I was just finishing arranging the last few decs & 'mummy's
little helper' was sat far too close to one of the lower branches.
We both stared at each other :eek: & I said "I'm watching you,
don't even think about it". She did think about it (for a fleeting
second) & with wide black eyes (naughty mode) she launched
herself at the branch & proceeded to have a good munch! :eek:
Ho hum! :rotfl::rotfl:

Morning, very wet and blowing a gale here,has been like it all night, Keep checking my fences are still up and they are at the moment.I am sure we had a dry December last year, not going to be like that this year. Well done on the Quidco win sheils, didn't know it was running again.Will check it out later.I have had a good start to Friday (not), I broke the handle off my mug, did a good job as broke in 3 places,lol. So fingers crossed i don't break anything else.Anyway hope you all have a lucky day.

Alfie well done on tree. Shame about your puffy cat is so attracted to nibbling it. Did make me smile. Great your car pasted MOT. Before we had this newer car we always celebrated when very old one passed.

Well done on wins Sheils. Wizard of Oz sounds good. Great you are nearly ready for Christmad. Here we did some grocery shopping and I still have a couple of presents to buy.

Gardening win came yesterday. A small garden fork and trowl, gloves and a kneeler. All very useful.

GS is coming here today. Not sure if we will go out.

As week has progressed I’ve eased off with comps. Good luck everyone with advents.

Afternoon, raining here and windy. The rain has been so heavy at times it's bouncing off the ground. I popped to Tesco's this morning for a few bits and the car park was nearly full. Took my son to work and all the car parks over the marina were full they were parking outside on the road. Everyone seems to have gone shopping mad today,lol. I think there is a christmas market over the marina so that's why that is busy.Glad your gardening win turned up leanfun, I am doing a few advents but not all them.Hope you all have a good weekend.

We heard a lot of wind late last night. It’s still raining and very dull here.

Hope everyone is ok.

Indie can’t believe how everyone goes so mad over the shopping. You can only eat so much. Yes I.too decided to do only a few Advents and must say it has been much more enjoyable than trying to do all. Let’s hope we have some luck.

We went shopping late on Friday evening and now have freezer in garage nearly full. So nearly ready. I have booked a slot with Tesco for the weekend before a Christmad but after The fiasco in the summer with four day delay I have back up plans. We have a good coop neatby.

Had a good day with GS yesterday. Offered to take him to a very local pantomime but he was adamant he didn’t want to go. He said he had seen one in school. DD explained that the Parents association had paid to have a company come into school. He arrived with a snakes and ladders board so it was lots of games on that.
