hi rose, I love my windows open but don't like the flies/etc coming in, a few years back i decided to have the mesh put on the windows so you can have the windows wide open & fresh air coming in but no insects can get in & added bonus for me is my cat can't escape out as she's an old rescue cat that doesn't go out & no other cats can get in :D
they are attached with like Velcro & you can still unpeel them to clean the windows each time,
link here if it helps & must say since I've had them done a lot of other residents have had their windows done with them as well as it helps keep the midget/flies/daddylonglegs flying in & you can enjoy the windows open without the bugs :)

Many thanks for the link fire**fly. :A I've been after something
like that for years! Sounds purrfect & have kept a note of the
    site.

Just been having a browse, what a brilliant idea these mesh
fittings are! :T :j I love keeping my windows open (weather
permitting) but I'm always worried about puddy cat taking a
tumble out of one of the windows upstairs (she loves to sit &
watch the wildlife doing their thing). :p Also, it would
be excellent for using downstairs (patio doors) to keep other
cats from coming in. I think these are the best invention
since sliced bread! :T Many thanks once again. :A

Well must crack on, my lovely family are coming to mine this
Saturday & Sunday .... I'm really looking forward to a fun-
filled weekend with them all. :j Hope you have a lovely
weekend and I will 'see' you on Monday morn. Take care. :)

    Morning,

Just popped in to say we have been having a lovely break - despite some of the wind and rain! It was lovely to see Woolacombe and Ilfracombe again and the sun did shine for some of the time. the wind was annoying in the caravan though. Finally managed to visit Taunton and Gloucester after years of staying on the outskirts of them . Gloucester Cathedral was amazing especially the cloisters (where some of Harry Potter was filmed)
Heading to Monmouth today for 2 nights and weather looks like it should be nice by afternoon. From there we are going to Telford for last night before home on Wednesday. It has been an interesting break doing quite a variety of things.
Have been keeping up with what you are all up to.
Wishing you lots of luck and will see you when we get home again.

    :hello: Good morning everyone

I hope you're all well & raring to go on this glorious
    start to the week! soleilcoeur.gif

Many thanks all re my weekend. We had a fabulous
time, despite the rain Saturday/Sunday morning! pluie07.gif
By Sunday afternoon the sun came out, soleilnuage.gif so perfect
ending to the weekend before they all returned home.

 Hi wingo - lovely to 'see' you. Good luck with
getting back into comping. I'm usually way behind and
always playing catch-up! :p I blame my two gorgeous
granddaughters - soon to be 5yrs & 1yr old. Can you
tell I'm besotted with them? :grinheart

The soon to be 5yr old has recently started 'big school'
(her words, not mine :rotfl:) full time & last week she
received an achievement award for doing so well with
reading/writing in class. She was presented with the
award by the headmaster in the school assembly. Little
rainbow baby (coming up for 1) is just a pure delight -
always smiling & laughing, such a happy soul. And not
so little anymore! Alfie is such a proud nanny! :grinheart

Hi sheils! Sounds as if you're both having a brilliant
time. Enjoy a lovely couple of days in Monmouth &
Telford before heading back home Wednesday.

Well I'd best get on with comp catch up now, also have
a fair bit of pruning etc to do in the garden - it's a perfect
weather day for working outside. :D

Have a lovely & lucky day all and please take care
    whatever your plans.

Phew! Is it just me or is it warm tonight? I'll be stripping off before long! :D

Your GD's sound adorable Alfie and I bet you're loving hearing all about her day in school :) We had a new 3yr old starter in our school and I kept asking others why he was in a special needs school. He looks like a very smart peaky blinders kid and very independent and polite.....until I learned the other side of him in the playground when he called me a word beginning with 'c' and ending in 't' :rotfl: He's still adorable though!

Sheils, I hope you eventually made it to monmouth and enjoyed your stay :)

Hope everyone is well. Any nice wins?
I tagged my sis in a comp for tickets to a trampoline park and she won! Think she might have the comping bug now!
