Morning. That wind sure sounded fierce Rose. Good your electricity was no off too long. I too would have been worried about bunny jumping, harness or no harness. Hope they enjoyed. You were brave doing it.

Sheils hope you have not been caught up in bad weather.

Indie hope you have a restful day off.

Yesterday lunchtime I had an offer from Show Film First for a Jazz/soul concert at St Martin in the Fields for last night. DH said let’s go he loves jazz. It was in the crypt and we were sat at tables and had a very pleasant salmon meal. There were only about one hundred people but quite a pleasant evening.

Take care everyone and be lucky.

Morning folks. Lovely and sunny here today. The exact opposite of yesterday. So sad two people died. Alfie I am stocking up on batteries too and also a couple of little gas containers for my one ring cooker and a big one for portable gas fire (which I never use unless an emergency) I remember all the power cuts in the 70's but you forget what you need to get on with the day. I love candles but hate the ones we used to use in the power cuts and am always afraid of fire. Anyway hope I find you all well. Nearly forgot it was Gd's birthday yesterday thankfully sent her card with mum and dad. Gs's was on the 9th.

    :hello: Good morning everyone

I hope you're all in fine fettle today! :) Blimey, we had a very
blustery night here, ended up carrying a torch around with me
just in case the leccy went out. :p

It's now a beautiful start to the day, sun is shining & birdies
    are chirping away! soleil07j.gif

Just been out to check the garden and surprisingly all is well -
even my rickety gates are still standing upright! :j

The jazz & soul concert t'other night (St Martin in the Fields)
sounds brilliant leanfun! Must have been a lovely atmosphere. :T

rose, I'm like you & I can also remember the days of the
power cuts! I love/use scented candles nowadays but even now
always have to triple check that they're definitely out before
    leaving the room!

Hope the bungee jump went well for DS & GS. I've always
been very adventurous but there's no way I would ever attempt
    that!

Years ago my daughter did a tandem skydive for charity and
it scared me just thinking about it. Thankfully all went well on
    the day! :D

Well must fly, got another busy day ahead. Have a lovely and
lucky day all & please take care whatever your plans.

Morning peeps. Sun is shining again here this morning. Did an online shop but still need to go out for a few things and get some cash. Neighbour is going to Asda later so she is going to take me as well. So can get the cash machine and odds and ends there without to much effort. Can use a trolley as a zimmer lol. Well I hope I find everyone well. Good luck for today everyone. (Still not booked a break yet will plod on with that as it looks like it is going to be much later in year so canaries are top of the list at the moment)

Morning, very wet and windy here overnight, rain has gone and wind has dropped but still breezy out there. One of my baskets came down but luckily nothing much in there now. I have put two loads of washing on line and put extra pegs on them to keep them there, lol. Not up to much today, other than catching up with comps. Hope you all have a good day.

DS hated me keeping the windows open because he has a prob with flying insects. After his term at sea he said to me he loves his job but hates being in a tin can? Suppose a sub is that but have to ask why did you join? He said I love you and love my country as in (Scotland) but we cannot survive without one anaother Love him
