A bit blower here too Alfie and Indie but very hot. It was a beautiful day here yesterday too and we had lunch in the garden. DH was going on about the spiders every where. I now have two bites on my leg.

Indie great Chalie’s foot is healed. Hope he leaves it alone.

We have had problems with the new central heating system and have had them here Fri, Sat, yesterday and coming again this morning. Something wrong with the electric wiring. We thought it was use not understanding the Hive, the new controls.

Alfie I like the look of cup cakes but find them too sweet.

Have a good and luck day everyone.

Afternoon folks. Weather not so great here but rain has gone off. Had a beautifull large boquet of flowers delivered yesterday that I won in the local church raffle. Have put them in to three vases so have two in living room and one in the kitchen. The flowers are all cream and white with green foliage. Hopefully they will last a while. Hope I find everyone well.

    :hello: Good morning everyone

I hope you're all ok on 'Wellies' Wednesday! :D

Show your support for Thrive this September by giving it some welly!
Last year saw an array of people – from school children to a Strictly
star – wear their wellies with pride to boost Thrive’s funds.

The idea is simple – slip on your wellies instead of your usual
footwear on Wednesday 19th September and donate to Thrive.
Anyone can take part, businesses, schools, colleges, basically
anyone who has a pair of wellies!

Great news that Charlie no longer needs to wear the cone indie,
I bet he was happy to see the back of it. :p

Hope you managed to finally get your central heating sorted
leanfun, particularly before the chilly weather sets in.

Your bouquet won in the local church raffle sounds beautiful
    rose!

The Southampton Boat Show is on at the mo & I heard about
this on our local news. :T

TheYachtMarket.com unveils innovative ‘Ocean Saviour’ project
    with eco-concept designs

    JONES-David-oc-ean-saviour-launch.jpg

The first yacht ever designed to turn plastic waste in the ocean
into fuel was launched today by TheYachtMarket at the
    Southampton Boat Show.

    Ocean Saviour is a self-powering 70m tri-deck clean-up vessel,
engineered to find and recycle plastic from the ocean.

She works by collecting plastic waste, which is finely chopped,
milled and processed using plasma gasification, with the end
product becoming fuel for the yacht.

It is estimated her technology would allow her to clean up the
entire Great Pacific Garbage Patch in 40 years.

Had an e/mail from DS to say that him and GS were doing a bungee jump this afternoon. When I pointed out that I thought you had to be 18 or over he said they have a kids one for 12 years and over and they do not go by the ankles they put them in to a jacket and harness. DIL is going to take pics so that I can see them when they get home. I am a nervous wreck thinking about it although I did one about 10 years ago and would never do another.

Goodness was nearly having kittens electricity went off for half an hour. Wind was really strong this afternoon so I am guessing it was something to do with that.

    :hello: Good morning everyone

Hope you're all ok today. :) Blimey rose, also hope the weather
up your way has eased up this morning!

Hate is when electricity goes off. As you say, it was most
probably something to do with the wind strength. Actually,
you've just reminded me to check my torches to make
sure they're all working ...... just in case the leccy goes when
    it's dark!

We have a yellow weather warning re windy conditions here
(from late this evening to early Friday morning), so best to be
    prepared!

Have a lovely & lucky day all and please take care whatever
    your plans.
