Morning, great start to the day Alfie, had to laugh at the Rodders remark. Fingers crossed for next year for you.You have to believe, lol.
Charlies op went ok and we brought him home yesterday afternoon. He was still dopey but is wide awake this morning. They didn't find anything in his foot but flushed it through and cut his nails whilst he was under. He has conjuntavitas (sp) in one eye so i came home with eye cream and pain relief and anti biotics for him. They think he may have dry eye as well so they will check on saturday when i take him back for his post op check. He has to wear his cone of shame at the moment so is not happy but they didn't put a dressing on his foot as he only takes them off so they left it bare.
Hope your sore hip & shoulder are feeling better today rose. Never been to Madera but sons GF parents go every year they love it there.Anyway must pop to shops soon. Hope you all have a lucky day.

    Good Morning,

Bit cloudy and windy here but supposed to stay dry until afternoon. DS3 is home until Sunday and has brought lots of washing so hopefully get it all dry. He is looking for a new job although can't decide if he wants a full time one or agency work. Chefs seem to get bored with the same place although he was at Gleneagles for 2 years and he said he was going for 6mths to a year.

Well done on the cash win Alfie.

Glad Charlie got on ok indie.

Think it is leanfun you need to speak to about Madeira rose. Think it is one of her favourites.

Did I say I managed to book "War Horse" at theatre in Glasgow and "Wizard of Oz" in Blackpool with my Ticketmaster win. Had a few pounds left from last years win too. Left with 90p now!
    Wishing everyone lots of luck.

    Morning really sunny here today.

Rose Madeira is our all time favourite place. It’s beautiful and the people are very friendly. However once there you are either going up or down very few roads are flat except the 150 plus tunnels they have built through the hills. It’s so bad they built the airport out on stilts on the coast line. We have been going since 2002 and in the last two years the airport has had problems with high winds many planes have not been able to land there. Jet2 fly from Glasgow and they do look after you if there are delays.
I think you would love Madeira but at present might find it hard to get about. The pavements have tiny tiles so I usually wear trainers out walking.

Last year in April we went on a late Deal with TUi to Majorca DH had been before but I hadn’t. The flight was so smooth and hotel great with wonderful half board. It was a bargain and we had a great rest.
If you do go abroad I would highly recommend you go as an aided passenger or whatever they call it. It might be easy at Glasgow airport but places like Palma airport were vast we walked and walked.
There are also the queues at the check in to consider. I caused a scene at Palma when someone in very very long queue looked really ill. She did not appreciate me trying to get help for her. Happened to us in a long BA queue at Gatwick poor air con HD got too hot. When I asked to be taken out of queue next question Is he fit to fly?

A few years ago my brother was cured of illness by Kings hospital and was asked to go to a medical conference in Rome. His medication had caused arthritis in his knees so he booked aided and found it brilliant.

A friend with a bad heart condition told us he had been to Majorca just after we went and one day he hired a mobility scooter for the day. He said he would do it again.

    Hope you find somewhere.

    :hello: Good morning everyone

Hope you're all in fine fettle today & yay, it's Friday! :j

It's going to be another beautiful day here today soleil07j.gif (it became
fairly warm yesterday as the day went on).

So pleased that Charlie's ok indie. He sounds such a character
    too! :rotfl:

Had to pop to the vets yesterday to pick up Profender Spot-on
worming stuff for my cat. I fail miserably trying to get her to
swallow a tablet, let alone get one in her mouth! The
spot-on stuff is much easier & thankfully only has to be
administered every three months. But even then she eyed me
up suspiciously (& tried to leg it away) when I squished the
liquid on the back of her neck. If looks could kill ... :rotfl:

Well done booking "War Horse" at theatre in Glasgow & "Wizard
of Oz" in Blackpool sheils. Those Ticketmaster wins came in very
    handy!

Three events today well worth a mention .....

eating or becoming entangled in litter. It's also dangerous for

    Morning.

Sheils well done on your bookings. Thanks for the pic made me smile.

Indie great your nephew brought you a gift. Know he will have appreciated all your help. Pleased Charlie was ok. Made me smile how he ignored you.

Rose didn’t mean to put you off Madeira forever it’s truly great. The three days it took me to get home from the flower festival due to wind were tiring. Jet2 from Stanstead provided hotels and food but I was pleased DH was not with me with all the hanging about. We had no problems in the summer.

Alfie thanks for all the links. TAs do a great job. I love crab but don’t very often have it.

I Have had a WEM for a Doctor Who CD I think it’s from this post

Will be great for DD2 and SIL who are big fans.

Having a nice sunny day here although supposed to be having showers.
Got bedding on washing line and nearly dry so chuffed about that.
Will have last sweep for washing tomorrow and then will be off to Dudley for the night on Sunday before heading to Woolacombe on Monday. Really looking forward to seeing Devon again.

Didn't realise house cats still had to be wormed Alfie.

Well done on another win leanfun.

DS3 supposed to be cooking dinner tonight but he hasn't even got out of bed yet!

    Good luck to all.
