Holiday house has amazing views of the beach here in Portmahomack.
It has the living area upstairs and the bedrooms downstairs which is good. Heading to Aberdeen tomorrow.

Morning folks. Hope you are all well. Still no sign of DS as yet. GK's are getting a bit impatient and GD has been a bit teary bless her. Hip is a bit stiff this morning so had a lie down on bed and did some cycling movements ( you pretend you are pedaling a bike). Will do more later and hopefully that will ease it a bit. Shiels enjoy Aberdeen. Hopefully weather will be good for you over the weekend. Kettle is boiling so off for a cuppa. Take care peeps.0

:hello: Good morning everyone
Hope you're all ok - & yay it's Friday! :j
Lol at the 'rain forecast' for here yesterday fire**fly! Went out
for my daily forest walk in the morning. Said hi to a load
of ponies and one solitary cow!
..... but had taken my brolly just in case. The forest had a lovely
wild feel about it, met quite a few doggy walkers out & about
but no sign of rain, thank goodness!
I reckon I'd left home 7.30'ish to go walkies, got back just
before 9.00 - made myself a cuppa & the heavens opened!
Was very thankful I'd got back indoors before the sudden
deluge! (Slight exaggeration but you know what I mean).
The sun came out shortly after & it ended up a fairly warm day
so I went out & carried on with lots of gardening jobs that needed
doing.No rest for the wicked!
Your day out in Deal sounds wonderful leanfun. A lovely area -
very quaint and a popular place to visit.
Sounds as if you're having a brilliant time sheils! The holiday
house is gorgeous, perfect layout to take in the views. Have a
great time in Aberdeen today and well done on wins! :T
I was chatting to a poster on the Betty thread yesterday about
why cats love bringing pressies _pale_ back for their owners.
Found this on youtube which made me smile!

Morning folks. Bit colder here this morning. Felt it in my bedroom when I got up this morning. (always sleep with window open) Turned out a nice sunny day yesterday so hopefully same again today. Why is it when I do an online shop I spend more than if I go to supermarket and local shops myself? DIL's mum her gran and GK's are coming for lunch today. So I am making a salad and scones and jam. Have strawberries to make a compote and I am making scones myself. (Not a baker but make pretty good bread and scones) Grocery delivery should be here by 10am so busy morning ahead. Hope everyone is well and hugs for those that are not. Be lucky peeps.0

:hello: Good morning everyone
Hope you're all in fine fettle on this Bank Holiday weekend!
It's a glorious start to the day herebut apparently it'll
be blowing a hooley down my way tomorrow! Better not
go out for walkies then, otherwise I'll be doing a bit of a Mary
Poppins! :rotfl::rotfl:
Aww, the lonely moo cow had thankfully been joined by all
her friends yesterday fire**fly.
Piggies will be let out come September, to scoff all the acorns
that fall from the trees. The acorns can be lethal to the ponies
but don't cause the pigs any harm.
Have a lovely day today with your family rose, lunch sounds
scrumptious.
This was posted on the Betty thread :rotfl::rotfl:
Apparently 'I have a mental age of 23-28 - I choose confidently
& have good visual capability'!
Sounds about right 'age' wise!It could have been worse - one
score gives a mental age of 14! :rotfl::rotfl:
Have a lovely & lucky day all and please take care whatever
your plans.

Morning all very sunny here this morning. We came back from DSs yesterday evening fortunately all the traffic was going the other way. We arrived home just before a very heavy rainfall. Had a very pleasant afternoon shopping in Canterbury.
Sheils hope weather holds for you in Aberdeen. We never made it there. Your holiday house sounds great. So pleased your DH had a brilliant birthday week. Well done on your wins.
Rose we do a big online shopping every couple of months for things to go in the cupboard and always end up spending more than if we went to the shop.
Enjoy your cooking and visitors today.
Lo Alfie bit sad a lone cow at least the rest came along. Pleased you were home before it rained the other day thanks for pics etc.
Hi FireFly love the waving emojo.
On Thursday I had two WEMs for tickets.
I entered this for son who is vegetarian.

The second WEM I entered for DH who loves Jazz. However this email only had one word congratulations. Heading said you have won tickets etc. I looked up the sender and he did work for Older is wiser so I replied and he sent back saying the prize provider will be in touch.

Wow I am on a roll with tickets again.
Family are back from Butlins they had a great time. Now we have to prepare for DD2, SIL, 5 and 3 year old coming here next week. That means DD1 and 7 year old will be here in the day too. Time to extend the table again. I think it will be online shopping.
Hope everyone has a good weekend and be lucky.0 -
