Morning, thanks for the link Alfie. Great competition.Suns out here at the moment and no wind. I might be able to get some gardening done later. I have just been out and watered the plants,and noticed the weeds are back so that's on my list to do whilst on a couple of days off.I hope you all have a lucky day.

Morning peeps. Nice blue sky here this morning so hopefully no rain. GK's and DIL called in yesterday afternoon with some strawberries for me. Had a chicken cooking in the oven so they stayed and had dinner. (GS first words were what are you cooking gran it smells good lol) So like his father. Anyway got comps to do so take care peeps.

Morning folks. Had overnight rain again. Saves me watering tubs etc which are blooming. Need to sort them out soon for some colour in the winter and spring. No sign of DS yet but hopefully by the end of the week his sub will have made an appearance. Off to put kettle on for first cuppa of the day. Be lucky folks and take care.

Week at the Zoo' yesterday, Channel 5? It's wonderful & on
all this week. The story of the 4 bears (brought from Japan
to Yorkshire Wildlife Park) is also being shown along with
lots of different species at various zoos. It's fascinating &
well worth a watch! :T

I went out for my walk yesterday and the blackberry bushes
in the forest are laden with fruit! So today I'm going to take a bag
& pick a few. Already looking forward to baking a couple of
blackberry crumbles! :drool:

Morning, i love apple and blackberry crumble as well.So you had better pick a lot of them Alfie,lol. It's sunny out at the moment with a breeze so should be a nice day for drying my washing.I did start to watch the show Alfie then got distracted and only saw bits and pieces of it. Glad to hear it's on all week as will watch it tonight.Hope you all have a lucky day

Me too for the crumble Alfie. I have not made a crumble for ages. Sounds yummy. Been very muggy here yesterday and overnight.

Rose hope you see DS very soon.

Neighbour came over yesterday and had a coffee and chin wag. She is doing really well. She spent a day in A & E last week but they said it was angina. She gets out for a short walk every day.

DD1, DD2 and DSIL and 3 GKs made it to Butlins yesterday weather forecast looks fine for them. DD1 booked it with great discount.

Sheils hope you all made it and had good journey. Enjoy the family.just thought no WiFi.

Postie brought a padded envelope with what feels like a DVD for grandson. Now have just had delivered a DVD player for him. WD GS:j:j:j:D:T:T

Evening ff nice to see you in the inn. His mum and him and GD picked it up. It is going in their play room so that both him and GD can use it. He is quite good at sharing some things with his sister. Remember years back (well not that many years) GD used DVD player in the living room as a bank. Putting coins from her piggy in the DVD slot. DS had to take the thing apart to retrieve the coins so that they could use it lol. (shouldn't laugh but was funny at the time)
