As predicted Dgd tried to get me to drive her to school, but I didn't cave in.
At work my friend came in to give me a hand, she did the social media for me, and rearranged the shop floor. We had a great day takings wise compared to the last week. I sewed all day upstairs and was beginning to feel more in control again.
Sold a few of my Makes today so that's for the Portugal pot.
This evening I had to take in some trousers for a school boy urgently.
The Mum was having a meltdown on the phone.
So I am not the only one who has a meltdown over simple things, -the last straw-
Dgd has earache again so we were back at the doctors at 5pm
He told her that she shouldn't use anything in her ear that's smaller than her elbow! Exactly what I always say..

    Wonder what today will bring.
The children have contact at their new house today. Phase one begins to return them to their parents by Christmas.
Trying to do my positive stuff, trying to think through a good day but my mind kept wandering off.
Tea before I jump out of bed. I woke feeling cold. Must sort out a timer for the heating instead of controlling it from the thermostat.

I have managed to get through the day, but it was a struggle. I just have to face the fact that I am not good on grey days at all.
Just keep plodding is my motto for the day.

I can't find it's power lead at the moment.
I have led lights with magnifying glass on that I work with, they help me but not in the same way as Sunlight.
I am trying to face the lights as much as I can.

I'm having strong words with you now,Mooloo - you know that you NEED that light -but you are not prioritising keeping it in good nick! Sort out that lead asap - and if necessary, get another one, so that you can have one at home and one in the shop.

Your mood reflects upon your productivity in addition to your well-being - and is important for you, for DGD as well. The SAD light differs from the ordinary LED light because it uses the full spectrum of light (like sunlight) and that is what you need.

I have spent hours searching for the wire. It was usually plugged in beside my bed. But I have searched for it, it feels like everywhere ( except where ever it has ended up!)

Can you not order a replacement lead from eBay? Normally pennies?

The one possibility on eBay is £19.99
I will keep looking and ask DS if he has it by mistake before I spend that amount on a lead that might not be the exact one.

My head tells me it has to be here somewhere. I must have put it away safely (: at the end of the last winter.
