Mooloo’s Managing it in 2018

I am awake, only up twice in the night, so that's good for me.
Feeling a little cold dispite my flannel pjs. Might be time to reach for the feather duvet. I didn't set up my teasmade so I am going to have to go and make my tea etc that will teach me!
Fingers crossed for a Dgd who doesn't complain about school today.
Lots of things have been either ordered or requested over the weekend via social media etc, so I must make sure it all gets added to my planner and not missed.
Only managed an extra £20 on Saturday, and didn't sell anything yesterday, so I am hoping that I will adverage out the sales and be on target overall by the end of the week, month, year.
That's the get up alarm so I better get up. Brrr. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Giving that Black Friday and Cyber Monday are coming, could you run a wee promotion to sell some items ?0

I might be able to on the sewing machines, and Habadashery.
Already promoting threads and ribbons multibuys this week.
Although today was a tough day, and making extra things at home tonight I think is probably not going to be a good idea.
I think planning and starting again tomorrow is probably best. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
So yesterday was not the best day in the world, work wise we took less than £50. In the evening I had lost my sewing mojo completely and the only sewing related thing I did was spend ages putting zip sliders onto continuous zipper tape. Fiddly and time consuming. Spoke to the twins as it was their 30th Birthday. I sent them both £20 each in their cards. Twin1 rang to say Thankyou when she got the card, and that she bought a gym ball or something like that.
Twin2 asked if I could do her a favour, but didn't say what the favour was, so I replied that if she wanted to borrow money she was out of luck I don't have any spare.
She said ok no worries, so I presume I was right she was going to ask for money.
Biggest rang in the evening for a chat, I cannot believe the baby is 6 weeks already and I have only seen her twice.
DS didn't acknowledge my text reminding him he needs to give me some money. No surprise there then.
Dgd got me replacing the strings of her guitar, made my skin crawl as the metal wire pulled through the bridge on it.
I had a bath, set up my teasmade and went to bed around 10. Dgd woke me because her ear hurts, and the Neighbour going and coming receding engine woke me up as well.
So today I am awake earlier than I needed to be. The teasmade is only just starting to brew.
The plans for today are to wear layers as I didn't get warm yesterday, to plan out the worksheets for the rest of the week and not let other people's emergencies become my false emergency.
I have a funeral emergency that is an exception.
I plan to stay positive even though I didn't have a good day sewing yesterday I plan to leave those gremlins at the door.
The fabric has arrived for part of an order, and I am hoping that the rest will soon follow.
I have a Parcel to wrap up and post too.
Come on mojo catchup!!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Mojo didn't follow. It was a day of plodding. At least I kept on going, but now I am home, I am in duvet mode-- well dressing gown over my legs, as I cannot be bothered to get a blanket!
Dinner done early, and could easily go to bed except it is too early! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Expect to have a busy day at home this morning, housework before 10 when the boys come. Biggest is coming over around lunchtime to see them with her little boy and the new baby, so my little house is going to be full!
After they go at 1 (the boys back to the carers, the parents to a ppl meeting, and my daughter goes home I am dashing to my Mums to clean before my brother arrives from France soon.
Then back home for dgd out of school. I have sewing that I must do tonight oh and a trip to the post office somewhere in between!
No time to worry about the depression that hit this week. I have to keep on going and get through it.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I can't help but wish for the umpteenth time Mooloo that you mum would get a cleaner and bed changer. It's something my mum did and I am very grateful that my spare energy could be spent with her in more enjoyable ways than cleaning her toilet. But of course this is a personal perspective. You may love housework and find it energizing and fun to do.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0

What Brighton Belle said, lifes too short, if she can afford it surely a cleaner would be the best option0

I hate housework! But when my grandad was having "home helps
They were literally "helping them selves to my grandads home. Things went missing.
So for my Mum, she doesn't want helpers.at the moment it is fine. It will not kill me.
I will monitor the situation.
Did I tell you that Social are hopefully returning the children before Christmas?
I am happy and scared at the same time.
My brother has been on the phone this evening. He might not make it after all, problem with strikes in France . The farmers and hauliers are striking as the cost of fuel has risen 50%
We never hear that in the uk.
French are good at "rolling" strikes, so that they have moved on before the police arrive!
Interesting! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Frosty outside. Getting Dgd to go to school is going to be interesting. She will expect me to defrost the car and take her, and I would still rather walk to work. Wrap up warm and use the time for positive thoughts etc especially at the moment when I am struggling.
I will get through this but it will take a little time. I can't find the power lead to my lamp! I will have to try and get some vitamins D in the chemist. I have ordered more daylight bulbs too. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
