Well done Caterina on SOTW! And well done to all the losers last week.
Weighed in yesterday and I've lost 2lb this week. Feeling so much better in myself, 3lbs till I reach my March target and only 13lb till target! Aiming for a lb a week so on track for getting to target before the summer.
Plan for today:
B - Porridge (HEB and 2 syns), pear, blueberries
L - Green Soup (lentils, kale, spinach, celery)
D - Prawns in a tomato and garlic sauce with 1/2 wholewheat spaghetti and 1/2 courgetti, HEA of parmesan
S - Christmas truffle (5 syns)Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Well done ruby. That's a good loss!:T
I'd call that a NSV tie. I can see why you need to stick to your home scales for regular weighing but that's a great confidence boost.:TSunshinemummy wrote: »Does anyone have any suggestions of where to get one from? I am thinking grey or black, with a bright top/shoes/bag. Then I can use it for work (I am wearing dresses at the mo when I should be in a suit). Thanks x
I really like that suit too. It does say they come up small so you might get black in the next size up.(ETA: Just checked and they've only got black in a size 8!:eek:). I think taupe looks good with black or a colour so it'll be versatile. Personally I find jackets more useful than suits as they can go with trousers or dresses or skirts. It tends to be the trousers that wear out too so can be replaced.lightbulb0811 wrote: »HEA will be milk for tea or maybe some cheese for my chilli.
EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried egg, ham, HEA milk
L: beef, LO veg and pickleschicken casserole (onion, carrots, leeks, celery, mushrooms, broad beans) with kale, broccoli and peas
Syns: 1 for cornflour0 -
[QUOTE=gettingtheresometime;
Does anyone have recommendations for a lasagne that's relatively SW friendly? Really fancying it but have heard missed reviews of the SW one.
Not sure what's on the menu tonight but aim to stay on plan![/QUOTE]
I haven't made this but I would dry fry lean mince with onion and garlic, add tomatoes and a beef stock cube and herbs to taste and simmer for a syn free bolognaise. Pasta is also free. For the cheese sauce I'd blend together low fat cottage cheese, a HEA portion of mature cheddar cheese and a splodge of mustard which will bring out the flavour of the cheese. That should result in a low syn version which tastes pretty good.0 -
afternoon all, sorry I've been MIA!
Fairly decent week so fingers crossed for a good result at WI tonight
that said today I've barely touched anything; I just haven't felt hungry so I'd had a peppermint tea then nothing until 1pm when I had some homemade soup and a brew but really not feeling it todayI've been to the gp about my sinuses and at long last been given a referral (yay!) but I'm not feeling sick or anything so not sure what the crack is. I think i'll take something to group with me just in case I do suddenly get hungry. I'm thinking a chicken salad wrap on my heb maybe or I have some leftover savoury rice in the fridge (1/3rd a pack so I think it's between 0.5 and 1 syn) so I may heat them up together and make an burrito type thing.

Evening all
Had an absolute mare of a journey today. Traffic was horrendous
Plan for today:
B - Overnight oats
L - LO quiche and salad
D - Oven baked salmon with oven roasted veg, broccoli and peas
S - Fruit (grapes, blueberries, orange and raspberries, banana)
I can't believe I've run out of peppers again and I am going to run out of blueberries and raspberries.0 -
It was freezing waiting 15 minutes for a bus after SW at 4.30pm,no bus shelter at that stop,and the wind was icy and vicious . Its taken an hour after getting home just to thaw out.
Lost 2.5 lbs this week,though I think at least a pound of that was bloat off the fried rice the day before weigh-in last week falling away!:j
