I really like that suit too. It does say they come up small so you might get black in the next size up.(ETA: Just checked and they've only got black in a size 8!). I think taupe looks good with black or a colour so it'll be versatile. Personally I find jackets more useful than suits as they can go with trousers or dresses or skirts. It tends to be the trousers that wear out too so can be replaced.
You are so right, when I get to the size I am aiming for, I will get a black jacket and a grey jacket, and a few different trousers/skirts to go with each jacket so that they last. I am for Yorkshire - so I am tight!dustydigger wrote: »Weight loss for March/April 2017 - 1 stone.

Evening all.
Well done all the losers! Some great losses for the early weeks of this challenge - hoping I can join you this week. Very glad to hear that blueberries are speed now as I can vary my breakfast fruit a bit more.
Love the shape of that suit jacket SSM - it'll give you a very shapely waist! I loved my suits when I was working, on the basis that at least if I looked like I knew what I was talking about, I could convince others - you'll know what I mean SSM!
DD2 has joined me eating SW style this week and gets me to calculate her syns each day. She's enjoying her food so far, so we'll see how long this lasts....I hope she'll continue as it makes meal planning much easier.
Very cold and snowy here - we're high up so it can seem like a different world a mile down the road. The main road is still choc a block with poor souls trying to get home. Keep warm all!0 -

Thanks for the chart kathrynha
And congrats on slimmer of the week Caterina :T
maman Thanks for the info on the sausages. I never knew they had cereal in them
Snowing heavily here at the moment. Don't have WI until Thursday evening, but a bit worried about it. I'm a nervous driver and there's no way I'd drive in snow. Hopefully it has cleared by then.
Have booked a holiday to Lanzarote for me and mum mid November. Plenty of time to shift a couple of stone by then. Although it didn't motivate me to do it last year :rotfl: Hoping the holiday clothes I had for last year will fit this year!Back on the slimming world wagon 04.01.18

I tried a version of this low-syn moussaka when I had some aubergines and thought at the time it would make a good lasagne by replacing the aubergines with pasta, as it uses beef mince anyhow.

I simplified the recipe somewhat - I omitted the carrots, just used mixed herbs rather than the various individual ones and missed out the maple syrup (?!?)0 -
esmy, I know that feeling well.
It is rather scary.... no one has clicked on yet!:D:D:D

Not sure what's on the menu tonight but aim to stay on plan!
I make SW friendly lasagne similarly to Poohsticks' recipe. I make a simple bolognaise sauce (mince, stock cubes, tomatoes, tom puree, onions, garlic) with added veg--usually frozen pepper slices and finely diced celery and seasoned to taste. I layer bolognaise sauce and lasagne sheets then top the dish with a yogurt topping (300g ff yogurt, 1 egg and 3-4oz grated parmesan, all well mixed together). It takes about 40-50 mins to cook in a moderate oven.
I prepare several (uncooked) lasagnes at once in different sizes to defrost and cook when needed for lazy meals.
I'd do the same with moussaka but unfortunately it doesn't freeze well because the aubergines go chewy, so I batch cook SW friendly bolognaise sauce, ready for defrosting to make a quick moussaka and other dishes.[FONT="][FONT="] Fighting the biggest battle of my life.Started 30th January 2018.

My food today:
Porridge and raisins
Mugshot and apple
SW friendly chicken and potato curry
Milk in tea/coffees
I also ate a (too large!!!) piece of cake and two 3 syn chocolates, both brought in by co-workers at work. No idea on the cake syns, so considering today a SW write off.[FONT="][FONT="] Fighting the biggest battle of my life.Started 30th January 2018.
