Thanks joedenise, it's a 1syn one, so won't impact my eating plan too much. (I don't really understand why they were free one day and synned the next, but I'm sure I'm not alone in that! :o)

It's annoying that they have changed it, but in my opinion it is down to how people are eating them. I think that as an occasional lazy meal replacement they are fine, but some people are eating loads of them, or having them as regular between meal snacks, and that is not the intention of them.
They are highly processed and hardly the best thing for you nutritionally, and also have no free food, so I think they are trying to stop people having too many of them.

I personally have the naked noodle pots when I get home from hospital appointments, and really don't feel up to cooking, and I have a load in the cupboard. I plan to use them up and not syn them.

That makes more sense and kudos to SW for discouraging too much reliance on a highly processed snack.

I will continue eating them occasionally--just as I did before they changed the syn values, for times when I'm very tired and have another long work day ahead but feeling too lazy to prepare my usual salad and protein lunch. :o I only resort to mugshots 2-3 times a month, so it isn't going to break the syn bank. :D

    Happy new year jay

This is the first year that the kids all seem to have totally disappeared without warning - I think we will be eating left overs for weeks!

I have my low fat roasties etc. OH can have the ones cooked in oil (he is walking with me, but says he does not want to loose weight as he is perfect just the way he is....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:). If DS3 gets out of bed in time he will eat with us... but will be hung over so I am rather hoping he stays in bed!

Please that there are a lot of us but why no roasties?

I have to admit to doing stuffing.... I love stuffing but need to be good!

Because they are carbs, i have to limit carbs because of my sugar:( i had 2 teeny weeny ones because i had a small yorkie, dinner was lush, sorry no pic as ate it before i remembered :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Kathryn pleased you are home :T:T can you try and stay that way now :D

We used to go to my MIL's for a roast on NYD and to be fair we usually do but we're keen to get back on plan. We go away to Lanzarote at Easter and I want to shift a stone (or more) by then.

Have made 2 soups this afternoon (WW curried veg and SW Spinach and sage). These will be lunches for me and Emma (still home from Uni) this week. Both recipes are syn free.

I've also managed to locate the syn values of my Green and Black bars and written them on the box.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

You always post such nice food pictures.

I will try and stay out of hospital. Of course I can't avoid planned visits, but will try to avoid the unplanned ones

I've cooked some pasta for making a pasta salad tomorrow, which I'll make up once it's cold.

That reminds me. I'm going to try making stuffing balls from LM red onion sausages.:)

And our decorations will be staying up to 12th night too. Don't get why people put them up so early, when they know they are fed up with them by Boxing Day

Mine didn't go up until 20th as I always do it for DD1's birthday. I think this year I got tired of the clutter sooner than ever.:(
. going to attempt sw chips to go with them. and will have salad too

I've perfected making SW chips after picking up ideas from various posters. I'm not sure if all steps are essential but it works for me so I'm sticking with it! :) I always use Maris Piper and cut the chips quite chunky (more steak chips than fries). I parboil for 5 mins then spread on one of those mesh trays from £ shop. Leave to cool if possible then spray and bake in a hottish oven (at least 200 ideally) for about 30 mins. I put the tray straight on the oven shelf and turn the tray round at least once during cooking.
I do SW roasties in exactly the same way (except for slicing of course:p).

DH's friend in Australia (who is called Bruce:D) was telling him all about his air fryer and how healthy and useful it is. I suppose it's an Actifry or similar. I tend to think it wouldn't get used too much. Any views?

I've got friends on facebook taking them down because they are bored of them. They put them up mid November!.

I haven't got an air fryer, and don't plan to get one. I have much too many kitchen gadgets that I rarely use, and I have other means of cooking healthy chips, and as I'm not allowed hardly any potato, it wouldn't be used.

If I had chips lots, had the space for it, and could afford it I might consider it.

I find if a gadget isn't out and really handy, you don't tend to use them much.
