We have a good 20cm if not more, came over my boots though.
Son has had message saying if he can get in early to go but they are shutting the store at 8pm (his start time) so he won’t be going . Can’t get out our road for one thing. Hubby can’t even find his van, it’s white and covered in snow :rotfl:
Wonder if we will have to go tomorrow? Forecast is for more and it’s still snowing on and off.
Police have said not to travel as most of Norfolk roads are blocked and snow ploughs are out. Don’t think that’s ever happened before.
Stay safe all :ASunshinemummy wrote: »I've drove over 230 miles today - the weather is terrible.... Not a single flake of snow here. We'll wait to see what happens later. It depends how the Met Office description of 'South Central England' translates to the ground. Enjoy your snow day tie and are you having one too tweets?:)
DH suggested going out for lunch but I'd rather not. We are meant to be out tomorrow although that may be cancelled depending on weather. We're going out after lunch to order a new car. Probably the same as the one I've got now but a new model.:)
I'm going to keep plodding over the next month but I feel it could be a bit of a losing battle. I've got my birthday, Mothers' Day, a holiday in Italy and a weekend away at Easter. I'll just do my best but as I'm going to a wedding on the May holiday weekend I'll probably spend most of April undoing the damage.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: veggie omelette with picklesgammon slices, SW chips and whatever Speed I rustle up from the fridge.:D berries & yogurt.
Syns: Extra HEB 6, syrup 2
My school was shut but got sent to another one struggled to get there and back grr :mad:Lioness_Twinkletoes wrote: »Afternoon all.
Congratulations to Top Girl. Belated birthday wished to Tweets. Congrats on the loss kathryna and hello and well done to everyone else :-)
I have to confess that I sinned yesterday. Was going great guns and then had fish and chips (with mayo) followed by chocolate. Oooops.
Today I am back on plan:
B - Fruit (pear, nectarine and apple) with Quark and honey (2.5)
L - Ham and egg muffins with beans
D - Meatballs in a speedy tomato sauce with pasta
S - Banana.
I'll update if I have anything else.
I'd like to put myself down for 14lb in the new challenge, please kathryna.
Thank you0 -

What sort of thing do you like? There's a bookworm thread on here somewhere - on Oldstyle I think. I like thrillers/crime fiction and any thing that makes me laugh out loud.gettingtheresometime wrote: »
That looks lovely GTS - one for next week!
Had a bad day today - snowed off work so just ate my own weight in rubbish alongside my planned meals! I did help clear my road of snow (a bit of body magic?) so we can at least get cars in and out if there's work tomorrow. The whole family work at various educational establishments (school, college and university) and all were closed today. At least I can't eat all day at work!
SSM my ex employer would ban us all from going out in these conditions except for 'life and limb' emergencies, I think you're very brave to drive so far in this weather.
Anyway, tomorrows plan
B Alpen light and banana
L greek salad with fat free dressing, a little bit of feta, yoghurt and berries
D Spinach chickpea and potato curry with rice, salad and mint yoghurt dressing.
Keep safe everyone especially those north of the border.0
