  • Afternoon all.

Congratulations to Top Girl. Belated birthday wished to Tweets. Congrats on the loss kathryna and hello and well done to everyone else :-)

I have to confess that I sinned yesterday. Was going great guns and then had fish and chips (with mayo) followed by chocolate. Oooops.

Today I am back on plan:

B - Fruit (pear, nectarine and apple) with Quark and honey (2.5)
L - Ham and egg muffins with beans
D - Meatballs in a speedy tomato sauce with pasta
    S - Banana.

I'll update if I have anything else.

I'd like to put myself down for 14lb in the new challenge, please kathryna.

Still plenty of snow around here. Had about 4-5" yesterday and another 2" over night. Really icy out there today. Had to go and do some shopping as hadn't got much in following the weekend disaster - only bought enough on Saturday for the weekend really.

DH couldn't get the car up to the top of the hill and had to leave it in the carpark at the bottom of the hill yesterday after going to the Dr so we had to walk down. It was like sheet ice in places, nearly went over a couple of times but managed to stay upright just about.

We went to Halfords and bought some snow shoes so we don't caught out again! They worked great on the way back home so a good buy although on very MSE!

    Today's plan is mainly LOs!

B - scrambled eggs on toast; fruit
    L - LO carrot & lentil soup
    D - LO chicken tagine & couscous

    HEA - milk as usual
    HEB - bread
Syns - none planned but may have some fruit, quark & mini meringues crushed over

Goes off to google Denise's snow shoes.

Not sure as yet what will happen with group tomorrow.
We now have a red weather warning in place & lots of people are asking on FB.

Snow sounds awful where you are beanie
Apparently loads of people stuck in their cars. Sounds particularly bad round greentiger 's neck of the woods.
    Thinking of you. :)

    Hi, jaynespain!

This snow is a pest. We are in a semi detached house with windows on 3 sides and I can!!!8217;t see out of any of them! So, yes, maman, it is awful !!!8211; the central belt seems to be enjoying the worst of it! It!!!8217;s a red warning here until 10.00 tomorrow and no wonder !!!8211; blizzards and whiteouts all day. There is no chance I!!!8217;d be trying to get out of the village, so at least that means I can!!!8217;t buy any naughties from the shops. Every cloud has a silver lining, ha ha.

DS is in a hotel at Glasgow airport (that was planned, luckily). He is assistant coach for Scotland women!!!8217;s U19 team and tomorrow morning they are supposed to be heading to a tournament in Spain. The first match is on Friday v Sweden, so I hope they!!!8217;re not delayed too much.

Thanks for the recipe, gts. When I can get to the shops, I!!!8217;ll buy what I need to make it. My mouth is watering already!

I hope you got your car ordered, maman.

Sunshine, that must have been a nightmare drive,

    Breakfast: LMcC roro sausages, beans
Lunch: leftover cheesy meatball pasta bake (hexa), beetroot

Dinner: gammon steak, fried egg, SW chips, broccoli, asparagus, tomato sauce (1), ML toffee yogurt & banana
Snack: hexb toast & jam (1)
