Weighed in this morning instead of this evening because of the weather and I'm happy to declare a 3.5 lb loss. Being good has paid off :)

    Today's plan :
    Breakfast - fruit and porridge
    Lunch - soup
    Dinner - chicken noodles

    HA - milk
    HB - oats
    Syns - cranberry juice (2.5)

    Thank you :D

And so say all of us!:j Hope you get to do something nice this evening.:A

Well done kathryha. I told you the gain would come off quickly!:T Now that you've more control on your food, you can really get back in the zone.:)

I've got about 10 syns left for today and tomorrow. I suspected that DH would make porage this morning but I'm sure it'll be tomorrow instead so I'm keeping them for that.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans, (half) HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: cold pork, salad and pickles
D: baked haddock, mash (might mix in some onion & carrot), asparagus, mushrooms, tomatoes
    Syns: none planned

    Thank you :D

I am watching Swansea - Sheffield Wednesday match
    Happy birthday Tweets

    Congratulations Top Girl

I've been hovering around not posting much as was struggling a bit. Weigh in tonight as I had a proper meal last week for lunch rather than my usual graze on fruit until 2pm then nothing I am trying to continue in better habits so I have brought in some homemade leek and potato soup and some grapes and melon for lunch today :)

I've had a 95% week; with a meal out on Friday (fish and chip buffet and a shared dessert - only had mushy peas and cod at the buffet and about 6 chips!) but I'm still on crazy anti inflammatory meds from the gp which leave me bloated and constipated...sorry tmi I know. I have resorted to trying something to *help* but no help as yet :/ we will see how tonight goes

I have definitely decided that unless anything changes I will probably stop going to group after this countdown. I seem to do better without group as I then avoid a weigh day cheat/binge :/ and I also avoid feeling a fraud/guilty etc if I sit there with a maintain/gain

    Thank you :D

As group doesn't seem to be working for you LLS then you're probably right to stop going when your countdown finishes. You know you can always return at a later date if you think it might help at that time. Good luck whichever way to you decide to go.

Weather was so bad here (about 5-6" of show) there was no dr this morning but did speak to him on the phone and he left a prescription with the receptionist (we have a pharmacy at the dr as we live in the middle of nowhere!). DH walked down to collect it for me. Hopefully will feel better in a couple of days!

    Today's plan:

    B - porridge; easy peeler
    L - HM carrot & lentil soup
    D - chicken tagine; couscous

HEA will be milk as usual
    HEB - porridge
Syns - no idea but have plenty available - only used about 10 since I got back from holiday on Friday!

    Denise

    Thank you :D

Happy birthday TWEETS:j hope you are enjoying it.

I’m another one with bad sinuses at the moment, it’s not good :(

I’ve really been struggling with losing at the moment despite being amazingly on plan. Or so I thought... I haven’t been weighing my porridge at all and think I’ve been having the equivalent of three HEB choices. Oh dear :o I’ve now weighed out a portion and it’s tiny compared to what I was having!!

Hello again to TETE, lovely to see you back.

Get well wishes to all those who are under the weather and positive vibes to those who are struggling. A big well done to those who are managing to lose at the end of this challenge. I just want to move on to the next one. Fresh start and all that...

    Thank you :D

I'll try for another stone across the next challenge period please Kathrynha.
  • Thank you Kathrynha for the chart & well done to the SOTWs.

Congratulations Top Girl & Happy Birthday Tweets.

Well it’s very cold here but no snow at the moment, though it did try to earlier today......as a result there’s no milk or bread in Tescos at all & people were resorting to long life stuff.......my attitude is if I run out of milk there’s always the wine lol!

Really wanting comfort food but resisting - got my beef with ginger & pak choy ready for tomorrow.

Kathrynha - is it ok if I let you know my target for the next challenge on Saturday? I’m just hoping I lose the Christmas gain in time lol
  • Maintained - phew

all set for a decent week me thinks.

Beef with ginger and pak choi sounds fabulous.

I didn't have much to eat today so may have a snack before bed to compensate

    Breakfast: coffee
Lunch: chicken thigh, roast vegetables, broccoli
Snack: celery and 1 tbsp hummus (2)
Dinner: large salad with ham and chicken (4 for dressing)

HEA milk for coffee. I think I might have a slice of toast later (HEB)
