My appetite seems to have diminished - is anyone else finding this to be the case?

I haven't noticed a decline in my appetite but I have rediscovered feeling full when I've eaten enough. My tastes have changed a lot over the year and a bit I've been following SW - fatty things in particular can taste unpleasant now.

Another 1lb off so provided I don't put anything on between now and the end of the challenge I've met my target for this period :)

Still another 2 stone left to come off however. It feels daunting when I look back to see how long it's taken to lose the first 1.5 stone. I'm glad things are going in the right direction but I've been doing this for 4 months now and I'm not even half way there :(

Nikki, it has taken me over a year to lose 3st. I think the most I've ever lost in a week is 2.5lbs, early on, more usually between 1.5 and half a pound. This was never going to work for me as a quick fix, but my diet and health has really changed for the better. 1.5 stone in 4 months is great!

    Todays menu
B Bran flakes berries 0% fat yoghurt and honey
L Mushroom omlette and baked beans, apple
    D Speedy spag bol, orange
Snack - Nakd bar (5 syns - love these!)

    Tomorrows plan:
    B As today
L Making some veg soup from bits of veg that are hanging around, and possibly a JP with something
D Braising steak with mash and veg

    Have a good weekend.

Nikki, have you thought about counting the calories that you are eating, and cross referencing your calorie output..... I know that this is no the SW principle but it may help you focus.

Also the weight loss is often slow if you don't have a lot to loose. I have a stone to lose before I get out of the overweight category. If I was average, and tried to lose a stone...... it would be like pulling my finger nails out!

Is a baked apple syn free? It!!!8217;s not mushed up like stewed apple nor got added sugar.

    Sunshine, if I WERE a taxi driver, I!!!8217;d get paid! Early morning run starts on Monday !!!9785;

Oh maman, I always fancied a Fiat 500; they are soooo cute. But realistically it is too small to be practical. The garage couldn!!!8217;t give me a courtesy car (usually a Fiesta) until next week, lol, hence the hire car which turned out to be a Qashqai. Once I!!!8217;d got over the shock (mine!!!8217;s a Focus) it was a lovely car to drive.

    Enjoy your PJs, Mrs_R.

    Well done, Nicki.

TIE, I know exactly where you are coming from. I am the world!!!8217;s worst slimmer. I had a huge gain last week, but I am telling myself that I am still on a downward slope over all, even if it is a very gentle one, otherwise I!!!8217;d just give up altogether. Last night I ended up just having a yogurt for dinner! Still don!!!8217;t think it!!!8217;ll turn things around though.

Football was rubbish and I didn!!!8217;t have a snack (maybe that!!!8217;s why!). The rugby was good though!

    Today
Breakfast: hm granola (6), ff Greek yogurt
Lunch: baked potato, tuna & syboe mayo (1), mixed salad, apple
Dinner: chicken jalfrezi (lazy, used jar !!!8211; 4 ½ ), boiled rice, Liberte 0% fat blueberry yogurt
Snack: hexb toast, hexa cheese & cherry tomatoes

  • Evening all,

ONE LB off for me this week. Seems like a bit of a wasted few weeks as this is just losing the pound that I put on recently. Roll on March, I seem to do better at the start of a new challenge.

Continued good luck to all x

    Evening all :)
Been shopping again today. I’m starting to replace the stuff I’ve been waiting ages to replace. I bought 2 pairs of jeggings and three tops although one of them is on order and I’ve to pick it up Wednesday. I also bought some badly needed vests- I wear them tight to hold me in and I usually buy them at least two sizes down from the size I usually wear. So I bought 4 size 14’s (I’m hovering between a 16 and an 18 in tops, depending on the shop) I cleared out my vest drawer and must have cleared out 30 vests in size 18 and 20 :o With all the stuff I’ve been getting rid of there’s 15 bags for the charity shop :D I was shocked at how much stuff I have! I must however stop buying tracksuits :rotfl: I’ve always loved my tracksuits and they’re very in fashion at the moment. Primarni is a particularly dangerous place right now :rotfl: I bought a gorgeous green and white one from there (complete with cropped hoodie!) that I am wearing so much at the moment. However I’m trying to make an effort to wear some of my other stuff as I seem to be wearing the same stuff so often :D
    Today’s menu:
B: HEXB HiFi x2, Alpro choc soya drink (HEXA +1.5) satsuma
Snack (I had a later lunch) Boots Shapers sushi (2 syns) Apple, Orangina Light (2)
L: 4 Broghies (4) with salad and smoked salmon and gherkins, water
T: 2 x Aldi 5% burgers (2) with onions and mushrooms, SW chips, salad. Tbsp tomato ketchup (1) Blueberries and yoghurt. Glass of Rawsons Retreat alcohol free wine (1.5)
    S: Chicken thighs, peppermint tea
    Syns: 14
Hope all is well with everyone xx
