Evening all
What on earth have I missed :rotfl:
I’ve been on a pyjama buying expedition today. My pjs are mostly from when I was at my largest and mostly mismatched and/or horrifically baggy. I went to Birmingham, thinking I could nip to Boux Avenue for undies and pjs. I bought said undies- and a bra :rotfl: which I didn’t need but liked
I’m mega fussy about pjs- has to be short sleeved t-shirt, cotton stretchy long leg bottoms. Boux Avenue only seemed to have shorts sets or the no -stretchy type so I decided to take a wander into Victorias Secret. I’ve always wanted to have something from there but I always thought it’s just for skinny people! I decided to go in and look for some pjs. I found a lovely pair of pink bottoms and a matching top and I absolutely loved them- and was very happy to be told they were a 16-18, just the size I was after. I hope no-one is going to judge me for spending £42 on a pair of pjsbut this wasn’t just a pair of pjs to me it was a huge achievement! Have tried them on and they fit lovely.
I naturally then went to Primarni where I bought three pairs of pjs for the cost of the pj top I had just bought from Victorias Secret :rotfl: whoops :rotfl:
Today’s menu:
B: HEXB 2 x HiFis, Apple, pear, HEXA Alpro choc soya drink +1.5

Mrs_Ryan, I love PJ's! Good on you.
I am currently wearing an old pair of plain black trousers for work (elastic waist from M&S back in the day when they were generous with the width of the elastic). I love them; it's like wearing PJ's to work but they are becoming dangerously loose. I can't decide if it's because the elastic has gone or the weight loss!
Food wise, Thursday was a bit a mare, I'd run out of fruit and salad so had porridge for breakfast and a wholemeal roll for lunch. Friday was better, I had a speed day.
My appetite seems to have diminished - is anyone else finding this to be the case?0 -
Another 1lb off so provided I don't put anything on between now and the end of the challenge I've met my target for this period
Still another 2 stone left to come off however. It feels daunting when I look back to see how long it's taken to lose the first 1.5 stone. I'm glad things are going in the right direction but I've been doing this for 4 months now and I'm not even half way there0 -

Mines definately declined but when nan kept going off her food they said to try and get her to eat little and often and I think it works the same with dieting.
You'll get there tie. I didn't put too much down as it all goes the right direction eventually. Chin up Hun:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one:beer::beer::beer:

Nope, mine is growing. At work I graze most of the day on speed and am eating huge quantity especially carrots. I am having a weekend of eating 3 square meals, to see if I can get myself sorted but I can feel my tummy swelling again - I really cannot wait for the menopause to hit!Another 1lb off so provided I don't put anything on between now and the end of the challenge I've met my target for this period

Well done :T:T:T:T You are doing well, especially when you think about Christmas and all of the work events you have been to and keep going to. You will keep going and achieve your goal.
I am heading toward my 4 stone mark.... then there is just over a stone to go..... I think it will take 12 months from start to finish - but if I consider Christmas and my holiday (5 weeks)..... it will take me 14 months. I am mindful that I had only started with an intention of losing one stone.... and my target keeps moving...:D:D:D. dependent on how I look/feel I may reduce the target further .... god this could go on forever.... and it is flipping slow.....but I do have a really lovely jacket that I would love to fit in again.... it has a size 10 label (wrongly labelled!).
