Hoping things start to settle down in my life now, and I can get more back in control in my life, and being able to give back to others the support I've been given.

That's a lovely positive post kathrynha. Great to read it. Well done on your loss!:T

    Hi everyone from sunny Tenerife.

Very envious of the weather but sorry to hear your DH is poorly. Hope you can enjoy the rest of the week and worry about the gain when you get back.:)

I hope you enjoyed your chocolate bar, maman. What did you choose?

I did enjoy it thanks. I buy the Aldi Moser Roth 70% chocolate. I find anything else far too sweet. The pack has individually wrapped 25g bars at 7 syns each. Lovely if you like dark chocolate.

    Good news about the car.:)

My menu today would probably pass for SP.The monster porage portion that I usually syn would be my extra HEB. But I'm not short of syns so I'm not fussed and I'll log it as EE. I've done well this week sticking to my resolutions. I've had a SP lunch every day and really kept carbs low plus I've got through about half a bottle of Ribena which means for every cup I've kept my milk allowance low.

    Today's plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage, HEA milk
    L: veggie omelette with salad
D: cottage pie with swede & carrot topping, cauli and broccoli, peas
    Syns: extra HEA/B 6, syrup 2, Parmesan 1?

I'm feeling virtuous today because I've managed 14,000 steps already. It's usually a bit of a stretch to get my 10,000 in.

I think I've had another syn free day. Just as well as I'm at a dinner tomorrow evening so need a few in reserve!

Breakfast wholemeal roll (HEB) bacon, pineapple, melon, blueberries and raspberries
Lunch: chicken and butternut squash hot pot from Pret
    Dinner: spring vegetable frittata

    Milk in coffee for HEA
  • An early weigh in for me this week as we're off on holiday early tomorrow. I'm afraid we had a meal out today to start the holiday so tonight I’m STS.

No doubt I'll have gained a few lbs when we get back in a fortnight.:rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks everyone for your encouragement and motivation. Hope the poorlies feel better soon.
  • Evening all

Well done on the loss kathryna and sorry to hear your husband is unwell, Denise.

    My menu today was:

B - Fruit and yoghurt with a squirt of honey (2)
L - I made the PON corned beef pasties so had one of those (meh) then later I had LO pasta bake
D - Chicken masala using the Chubby cubs recipe
S - Quark with an Options and banana (2)

Feels like I've not had much speed today, but in truth all the fruit was speed, the pasta sauce had seven different speed veg and the masala sauce is made with another 4 so that's actually quite a lot!

It has dawned on me though, that I've not my HEXA. Since I moved onto herbal teas, I am actually struggling to use my HEXA. I don't eat cheese every day. Should I just go and slug some out of the bottle or not worry too much?
