Rather amazed at a 1.5 lb loss tonight.
Obviously my being so good at the beginning of the week was enough to recompense my badness at the end of the week

    Well done:D

    Evening all.

Congratulations Dawyldthing on SOTW - chart is looking good! Well done all other losers.

Not having a bad week so far, I'm very busy in my casual job and little time in the day to eat much, which I'm considering as a bonus. I'm making sure I only have on plan food with me and no opportunity to buy anything else, so no temptations!

Yesterday's dinner became a stir fry with loads of veg and a bit of chicken. Today has been:
    B Alpen light and banana
L (but grazed as and when) apple, leftover gammon in a sandwich (syns for extra bread) with carrot sticks, tomatoes, cucumber, yoghurt
D sausage, mash, mountain of cabbage, carrots, peas
Just had some berries and 0% fat yoghurt.

    Tomorrow will be:
B Just a banana (really need my bran flakes - I'll say no more!)
L coucous with added veg and salad, boiled eggs, fruit
D veggie, speedy Chilli pasta bake with salad/green veg
I'll squeeze in bran flakes for my HEB somewhere

    Have a good week.
  • Well done Kathrynha & cwtchs beanielou

For anyone who buys them, apparently broughies are going to sold in Morrisons though I dont know from when

I hope you enjoyed your chocolate bar, maman. What did you choose?

Thanks for the Alpen bar info, bubbs. There!!!8217;s not one near me, but I!!!8217;ll pop in if I should pass one.

That!!!8217;s a fantastic loss for you, Kathryn.

More hugs from me too, beanie.

Well, my car was ready today, earlier than expected so DH took me to to collect it. They!!!8217;d taken another £200 off the bill (they said they managed to get a discount on the steering rack) and they!!!8217;d washed it too, so I am a very happy bunny. And that was a main Ford dealer, so I was surprised by their generosity. Maybe customer loyalty is valued after all!

Breakfast: spaghetti hoops on hexb toast (no butter :A)
Lunch: Mug Shot chicken and sweetcorn noodles, melon
    Snack: 3 x mini cranberry & coconut crispbreads (2)
Dinner: macaroni cheese (hexa + 8), beetroot, melon
Snack: foolishly left DH to choose, so it was a small piece of carrot cake (5ish)

I must do better tomorrow. Hospital appointment tomorrow lunchtime, so I must not be tempted by the caf! there.

It's still worth doing damage limitation kathrynha. It may not be enough for a loss but you mustn't throw away all your good work.:)

You were so right Maman, it was worth not giving up on the week
Still feeling rough but nearing the end of my tablets now :)

Hope you start to feel better soon

Feel a little guilty. Been a little absent on the thread recently. Not posting as much, and when I have, not having time to respond to others posts. Sorry everyone, but hopefully things are settling down a bit more here now.

Daughter is getting used to the crutches, and her knee will get better. Think she is going to have to give up on her dreams of becoming a professional footballer though as this isn't her first injury :(

I'm generally feeling not too bad now. Body seems to be getting used to the drugs reducing. Still getting headachey but it's bearable. Still getting tired, but that's partly due to me having to build up to doing more, more quickly than I maybe should due to having to help my daughter.

Hoping things start to settle down in my life now, and I can get more back in control in my life, and being able to give back to others the support I've been given.

So this week I'm starting out with the aim of staying on plan.

    Today's plan:
    Breakfast - yogurt and fruit
    Lunch - Frittata
    Dinner - risotto

    HA - milk and cheese
    HB - cereal bars
    Syns - cranberry juice (2.5)

    Hi everyone from sunny Tenerife.

Have just had a quick skim through the postings.

Well done to all the losers and in particular Dawdlything on being SOTW.

Expecting a huge gain when I get back but will at least have nearly a week to do a bit of damage limitation! Might even leave it for an extra week to give myself more chance of still being in target range.

Won't be eating and drinking much today as DH is ill. Had to take hin to tbe dr this morning and he's now on antibiotics and an extra inhaler (he already uses 3 a day!). Think we'll be glad to get home on Friday.

Will post again at the weekend after I've weighed myself.

    Denise
