It's still worth doing damage limitation kathrynha. It may not be enough for a loss but you mustn't throw away all your good work.:)

    Hope your DD is OK.:)

Trying to not throw away all the good work too much, but having to work from home today, which really isn't helping.

DD will be okay, she copes well with pain, and has mastered the crutches. Not sure when she will be back to playing football though

  • Hi Everyone, I was on holiday last week so no weigh in results to report. I need to try to keep up with the posts on here as everyone has good ideas for meals. Today's plan for me is:
B: Skyr (1 syn) and fruit salad
L: 4 x Ryvita (HEXB), ham. tomato and spicy lentil soup.
D: Chilli made yesterday with some spice mix I ordered online.
I've been hungry today so already had a wee bag of popadoms (3 syns) and a hi fi bar (3 syns) and a pear. I've got more fruit salad, a banana and apple for later (not sure I should be eating so much fruit!) and will be within my syns. HEXA will be some milk for tea and maybe a wee bit of cheese for my chilli x

Ive been on the scales this morning and am really not surprised with

    +2lbs

Will teach me for eating at the script and Jason Manford shows this week. One good thing is I've only (I say only lol) got less than 4km to swim in 2 weeks and I'll have swam 10 miles in 2 month which I'm more than happy with. Might see if there's a challenge of a marathon over 6 months or see how to suggest it some how as I think it would be a good challenge and keep me to task these next 2 stone.

    So today I've had:

Breakfast: Greek 0% fat yoghurt with blueberries
Dinner: 2 tomato sausages from birds (4 syns each I recogn), sweet potato, sweet pepper, mushrooms
Tea: might have a weetabix for my hex b with some berries. If I'm still hungry I'll have an omelette

Keep going folk. We're doing really well. Can't believe how quick this challenge is going mind.

Hope your daughter is ok Kathryna too

Well done all the losers and sts and gainers we'll get there :)
    :T:T :beer: :beer::beer::beer: to the lil one :) :beer::beer::beer:

Well done on being SOTW & your new loss ...and thanks as always to Kathrynha for the chart - hope your daughter isn't in too much pain today.

Dawyldthing, there's a challenge being advertised on facebook by Diabetes UK for virtually swimming the channel between 22/2 & 22/5 and equates to about 1400 lengths of a 25m pool.

Was shattered last night as hubby had us walking once again in the Beacons.....was very muddy so we couldn't stop for a pint as he promised but did call in Tesco for some vodka. I did make a conscious effort yesterday as well to drink my 2 litres ...must have worked as I was up in the night to have a wee.

Hubby's out tonight so it's me & mutt dog so will have a pon chilli pasta bake that I've got out of the freezer.

I'm always a bit wary of too much fruit too. Sugar's sugar after all.:(

Just wanted to say that cottage cheese is great with chilli for when you don't have any HEA to spare. It's like having sourcream with it. Yum! And it's free and protein.

  • Evening all

Monday done, thank goodness. My eats for today:

Speed day today as I was rather naughty yesterday. I find a speed day is a good way of resetting my mind and makes it easier not to let one bad day become 2 or 3 or 4.

B - Fruit (orange, nectarine, raspberries and strawberries) followed by
Oats so Simple plain (HEX A&B)
L - Chicken salad (mixed leaves, tomatoes, cucumber, peppers) with a squirt of low fat salad cream (2)
D - Salmon fillet cooked in a Maggi lemon and dill bag (anyone got any idea of the syns?) with broccoli, peas, cabbage and fine green beans
S - M&S Sour cream & chilli lentil curls (damn, they were really nice!) (4.5)
    Murray Mints x 2 (2)

I've found a new way of doing a food diary during the week - wrote everything in an e-mail which I send home at the end of the day. Snacking in the evening is never my problem; it's during the day, so once I am home I know I'll stick to plan.
