    beanie, that loss is fandabbydozy!

bubbs, yes, there has been a lot going on, luckily nothing major, just a build up of a lot of wee stuff all happening at once. Give it a couple of weeks and I!!!8217;ll be back to normal !!!8211; well apart from driving from my village to another town to get DGS and take him to school in a different town (he!!!8217;s not changing school !!!8211; I don!!!8217;t think I mentioned that pregnant DD moved house on 1sr Feb), then doing it all in reverse at home time, lol. It!!!8217;ll only be for a few weeks. DSiL will have some paternity leave, then I!!!8217;ll taxi for a couple of weeks, then it!!!8217;ll be Easter hols, then before I know it 6 weeks will be up after the birth and DD will be able to drive again! Sounds worse than it is !!!8211; A to B = 25mins, B to C = 20 mins. At least I won!!!8217;t be bored. Why do people always wonder how retired people fill their days? I don!!!8217;t have time to work!

That does sound like a very bust few weeks greentiger. Hope it acts as a distraction from eating.:D

We got bad news about my car too this week. It went for a regular service but we were alerted to other work which is imminent. Probably about £1500 worth! What's irritating is that some of the damage has been caused by bumping over rutted roads!:mad:I've had it from new and it's more than 10 years old and done miles and miles so I think we'll part company soon.:( I might even buy a direct replacement although the next one will probably have to be petrol.

I've yet to do my meal plan or shop for the week but I've sorted today from what we have in.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: veggie omelette with LO veg (SP lunch:))
D: chicken stir fry with noodles
Syns: extra porage 6, syrup 2, honey 2.5, gin?

I might rethink the stir fry recipe and go for a free sauce as that seems an awful lot of syns for a tablespoon of honey.:(

Finally, a loss :o Only -1, and I'm still a pound heavier than I started this challenge, but it's a step in the right direction :)
These last few pounds are proving hard to shift!

I couldn't agree more, Greentiger! Although I do have a casual job, it's only something like 10 weeks or less a year - goodness knows how I did this for 32 years!

Sunshinemummy I think it's you and I that have/had the same or similar job; though I never got invited to a hotel room, I was often invited to 'F... off!:rotfl:

-1lb for me today - very happy with that. Is it the end of the challenge?? If so I've not reached target (again) - hey ho...

Well done losers, commiserations to the gainers, keep on keeping on everyone!
