DH has finally decided he's going to do SW properly rather than just SW meals! Let's see how long that lasts! He's hoping for 1 stone in 4 weeks! I suppose as a man he'll be losing far more than me!

    Today's plan:

    B - Egg, Bacon, Beans & mushrooms
    L - LO faggots; cabbage
D - pork chop tray bake with carrots, onions, garlic, peppers, courgettes and whatever other veg I can find in the fridge/freezer to roast! Will cook in some stock and then thicken with xanthum gum so the gravy will be free:D.

    HEA - 300ml 1% milk as usual
HEB - undecided but have Ryvita, Alpen Lights or cereal I can have
Syns - nothing planned but obviously if I have Ryvita then there will be syns for butter.

Was reading a blog today where the writer was suggesting aiming to fit 10 different speed foods in per day. I'm not sure I could manage that much but I may try and adapt it to perhaps 6 a day.

Some one in a previous thread suggested a 'Sevens Challenge' which I made a note of - to have 7 speed foods, 7 syns and 7 drinks of water in a day

The NSV is that is it 5 sizes smaller than when i started SW:j:j:j:j

That's amazing - well done. I've not noticed much of a change in my clothing yet, apart from my knickers, which seem to fit a bit better :o

Can't remember who said they'd ordered the Tom Kerridge book but wa ted to say I've had an e ail to say it's coming tomorrow. Hopefully I can add some new recipes to next month's menu plan.

Yes, mine arrived yesterday (after originally saying it would take until the end of February), but I've only had a chance to have a quick skim at the moment. Let me know which recipes you try and I'll do likewise.

    My plan for today;

Breakfast - beans on toast (HEB)
Lunch - omlette with cheese (HEA) and red pepper
Dinner - OH is doing a prawn stir fry with bean sprouts, mushrooms, carrot, onion and noodles

Snacks; plums, raspberries, clementines, pear, banana

Oh, is it 4th March, not 4th June? I'll say 8 lb then please!

Oops, don't know why I typed June. Meant March :o
    1.6 lbs loss.

    Right off for a splurge......

Well done on the loss. Don't splurge too much

It's sickening how men manage to lose the weight so easily

Well sticking to plan isn't going great, and not helped by it also being star week. In theory this is the first day I could consider going back to work. Thank goodness it's the weekend so I don't need to think about it.

Not going to write a plan for today.

This one's quite a good one to try. I've done it in the past but really try to have more like 10+ a day of Speed foods.

For some odd reason my boobs seem to have got bigger since I've lost weight:rotfl:. No idea how that's happened but gone from 32A up to 34D! Biggest problem is I have to keep buying new bras and they aren't cheap any more!

Will do. Really need to get my meal plan done over the next few days so I can get sort out what I need to buy for the next week. Even though I do a monthly meal plan I still shop weekly for fresh stuff but do use a lot of stuff from the freezer. As most people, it is not set in stone and I'll pick up anything I see that's a bargain and either freeze for the following month or if fresh use it instead of something from the freezer which is in my meal plan.

KathrynJust have what you fancy until you feel ready to jump back on the wagon. Your health is more important than SW!

Both the cup and the back size going up when you lose weight is unusual.
When your back size goes down, if your boobs stay the same size your cup size goes up.
Could it be a case of being in the wrong size before?
A lot of shops cover your size so you should be able to buy cheap bras still. Asda go up to about a G. It's only when you get to K cup and bigger that it gets really difficult and expensive.

I know. Just don't want a big gain to deal with. I like to be in control

A measley -.05 lbs this week - all my own doing of course.

I've been bleating on about wanting to get back to target for this wedding but thinking about it, I do sabotage myself when I know I'm going to have a SW 'holiday' - what' the point of following the plan when I'm going to have a week/weekend of eating, drinking and being very merry? goes my subconscious...I discovered very early on that I cannot lose weight if I'm drinking regularly even though it's a spirit with diet mixer so now I only drink on high days and holidays :)

Oh well, as SSM suggested, out comes the spanx - so attractive  OH kills himself laughing everytime he sees these, sings about sausage in skin :) S'ok I get him back with chest hair pulling. We are sooooooo mature :p
  • Hello all,

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. It’s a STS for me this week. Luckily not a gain as I’ve had a lot of chocolate plus one day eating literally everything in my sister’s house. I must add that I didn’t even enjoy this binge so no idea why I kept putting food in my mouth:o

Well it’s a new week so I will keep plodding. That reminds me, hello to BEANIE, I hope you are okay x I also haven’t seen TETE here for ages.

I have just realised that I have lost exactly three stone. I didn’t even register that I’d hit this milestone. Well, that should be enough to keep me inspired for this week. Onwards...

Menu today has been choc weetabix and Alpro dark choc almond milk for breakfast. Home made lentil soup plus yoghurt and berries for lunch. Dinner tonight will be SW quiche with lots of salad. I have nothing synful in the house and am determined not to be tempted into going to a shop!

    Afternoon all.

Congrats to all the losers- again, hope I can join you this week!

Meal planning and shopping done for the week. OH sent DD2 with me to buy 'treats' - he doesn't eat many sweet things but when he does they have to be full of sugar! With some guidance from me she's picked stuff I really don't like but he does, so no temptation for me. I still find it a real struggle if anything chocolaty is in the house.

As a household we tend to eat early - 2 of the three of us are at work early morning (and I am on the odd days I work) and they want dinner/tea around 5pm, which is too early for me. However we all eat together and I find I'm hungry again by 10pm, which is when things go to pot a bit. I need to give some thought to what I could have for supper without ruining the whole day.

This week is Tom Kerridge week in the esmy household. Next to try are the turkey and courgette burgers. I'll report back...

Brilliant NSV Bubbs! Kathryn hope you're not going back to work too soon. Have your diet restrictions ended now? Well done on your 3 st Moneysaverme.
