  • Very low day today :(
Only 44p from Qmee to report.

44p every day for a year, is £160 more than you would've otherwise had. It all adds up!

Wasn't on yesterday, not been feeling very well for a few weeks now, getting quite fed up and to top things off I broke a tooth today too. Haven't been to the dentist for 7 years - have horrendous experiences of dentists, the last one ended up with the dentist giving me an injection and then filling the wrong tooth. Needless to say when the feeling came back in my mouth, I was in as much pain as when I went to the dentist. I've never had a problem since with my teeth, and look after them, but need something doing with this tooth now. The receptionist I spoke to today was lovely. I'd been de-registered, but after a lot of sympathy on her part, and despite them not taking on NHS patients at the moment, she re-registered me and I'm being seen early next week. I think she could hear the fear in my voice while we were talking. :(

My total to declare today from MB'ing is £42.65.

Ouch! I totally sympathise. I haven't been to the dentist in a while mainly because of the expense. My teeth are ok but I have gum disease and I know I should be going to the hygienist but it is always painful so I keep putting it off. Hope your trip is pain free and not too expensive

Just a little update, hugs to all that need or want them

Facebook sale £380 (won a prize and hubby decided he wouldn't use it so we sold it) - feeling embarrassed by this :o
Brilliant  Great win and no need to feel embarrassed at all.

Lovely to read you're all ticking over, and don't worry if it's slow at times because some days good/ some days not happens all the time. Just look at ziggy's post.

I have £8.50 to add from bank account and £3.88 discount on vapour to add today.

Hope you all have a great Wednesday and stay warm and dry

Ouch Mike!! No wonder you have a fear though. Quite understandable after your experience.

Shariann......you really should go to the hygienist!! I had quite bad gum disease several years ago though like you, my teeth themselves are quite good.

I had to have some very expensive treatment at Harrogate to get on top of the problem and ever since, I have four monthly appointments with the hygienist at my dentist to keep the plaque at bay. Touch wood, the problem is now under control. I used to have nightmares about losing my teeth and feel its a small price to pay to hang onto them.

Can't sleep again. Things not good and I am struggling with just about everything. Despite doing quite well with the money making the last couple of months I don't seem to have any!

Also think I am losing my marbles as I'm sure I posted on here last night after I replied to Mike but it seems to have disappeared!

Congratulations on your win bloomfelt but so sorry to hear you are having a tough time.

Hope you are able to treat yourself with a little of the money or even without using it like a long soak in the bath, taking time for a hobby, reading uninterrupted or going for a walk - although it might be a bit cold for that today!

You may have said before but are you stuck in the house for some reason? Hope you manage to move on soon.

    Take care x

DH and I went out for the day on Sunday but the money went straight into the savings fund (believe it or not at the minute that makes me a lot happier than spending it).
We aren't technically stuck in the house as our tenancy is now month to month but saving for a mortgage deposit as we are fed up of crap rentals and landlords who wont deal with damp problems. If we look for somewhere else we will only be stuck in a tenancy agreement and we are hoping to get in somewhere by the end of summer so for the minute the most sensible thing to do is stay where we are. We don't have the option of moving in with family as the only person who has the room is my Dad but he is 60 miles away so the commute would cost us too much.
However if these wins keep up we will have the deposit in no time :)

Hi all, glad to see you all doing so well. I have been hibernating due to bronchitis and migraines so haven’t been very busy! Managed a bit and found 11p roadkill, junk sales £360, quidco £3.25 cashback and £40 gifted.

I have reached my monthly target but must push on due to a huge car bill!

Had a flat tyre, bought two new tyres, satnav / car computer died so there is a failure on most the cars systems now, hubby crashed his commuter push bike and needs £200 repairs so he can actually get to work, ds2 has a School camp coming up (£110!! for two nights???) and to top my bad week off my boiler died ( that I only bought two years ago for £6k and it’s JUST out of warranty) grr and grr to it all... I have woken in a storm of rubbish... now I am wishing my migraine to go and watching the wind batter the fences and greenhouse with a silent fear that any damage is beyond my means to repair!

Time to eBay everything that’s not bolted down eek...
bad luck doesn’t last forever right?

Fingers crossed I can get a stroke of good luck running instead.
    Any ideas?

Good luck everyone else with the final week of January’s money making x
