    £75 selling my old laptop.

I've sent a box of stuff off to Ziffit so hopefully will receive payment this month (about £15 if they don't down value it all).

I've had a few other small bits too which I need to add...

    Evening

I received my first FiT payment today from the solar panels I had fitted at the end of September. It was a bit disappointing! £16.39

I am reminding myself that the readings were from October to January so all through winter with short, dark days so the next payment should be higher and the one after that higher still. I haven't seen a difference in my electricity bills yet either because I was with a company who didn't send bills at all and I have just left them after about 6 months so haven't been able to estimate usage yet. I am sure we are using a lot less from the grid but hopefully will know more once I get final readings from old company and get a bill from the new one. Watch this space...

Ooh - that's quite exciting. I would love to get some fitted someday (don't think DH agrees though..)

I've just been through my accounts and I've actually "made" £256 so far. It's defiantly not been a normal month though, I had £27.50 of Nectar Points, £10 of Boots points and got £20 M&S vouchers when I changed an insurance policy. Using these and the freezer, I have spent only about £5 cash on groceries so far this year.

So I doubt I'll do as well next month but this challenge has helped to push me. Given we still have a week to go I will increase my target to £400.
  • Evening everyone,

Could I be added to this or is it too late? I would like to try for £2 a day as I’ve never done this before. Trying to clear my debts so we can eventually get a mortgage!
Welcome to the 'Fred'. I have added you to the list of challengers and good luck with the rest of the month. Great to read you're already off to a good start :D

Had a very lucky day and won £140 :j:j:j

Also got a £12 facebook sale.

Very thankful for the good day given we need a new sink and tap in the kitchen - which is an unexpected and rather pricey expense.
Great news and shame about the forthcoming expenses but think you've got them covered unexpectedly eh :j

........... But had a massive positive this morning I won £750 on Virgins daily free games. I'm absolutely gobsmacked and it cant replace what I have lost this week, but so thankful as after this week I'm even more desperate to get out of this horrid house and this brings us another step closer.........
Sorry to read things haven't been so good for you recently, but what a super duper win :T Hope you can treat you and yours to a special something from that ;)
