Had a very lucky day and won £140 :j:j:j
Also got a £12 facebook sale.
Very thankful for the good day given we need a new sink and tap in the kitchen - which is an unexpected and rather pricey expense.Make £10 a day challenge November £125.60/310

Have been totally off grid this week due to a completely heartbreaking week. However after a quick flick through looks like this week has been tough for a lot of us.
I have updated my spreadsheet where i can but not really put much effort into remembering the odd few credits I have had here and there as I have just been on autopilot. But had a massive positive this morning I won £750 on Virgins daily free games. I'm absolutely gobsmacked and it cant replace what I have lost this week, but so thankful as after this week I'm even more desperate to get out of this horrid house and this brings us another step closer.
Sending hugs to everyone else who has had a tough week and hoping the coming week brings more luck for you all.January NSD8/100 -

I'm so sorry to hear what a truly awful time you've been having. Thinking of you and sending hugs your way.:kisses3:
I'm sure nothing can compensate for the loss you've just endured but I hope the £750 win will give you a reason to smile even if only for a little while. Congratulations:beer:0 -
Congratulations on your win bloomfelt but so sorry to hear you are having a tough time.
Hope you are able to treat yourself with a little of the money or even without using it like a long soak in the bath, taking time for a hobby, reading uninterrupted or going for a walk - although it might be a bit cold for that today!
You may have said before but are you stuck in the house for some reason? Hope you manage to move on soon.

Hey - all. Hopefully I am now back! Had a terrible week with baby being really ill and now properly teething (yes I know I always say he is teething as he always seems to be, but now I can see about 6 teeth in the gums and the first one is poking through!), then baby passed illness to me and DH and only really back to any sense of normality.
Got a bit of a shock a couple of days ago when I realised he is in for his first settling in nursery session tomorrow and then went on a bit of a thought process black hole where I was chiding myself for not having earned more money as the amount I need is a lot in order to change my life enough to be at home for him more....
BUT, I am trying to plan ahead far too far as usual and emotions of leaving him with strangers is probably getting on top of me. Taking a deep breath this afternoon, had a good thought about quality of life, what I want to do etc etc and will just be thinking in mini steps at the moment. I have already met my target for the month which I should be happy about, rather than thinking but if I could just....
SO... back to basics this evening (fingers crossed baby in bed for a change as I need some space!). Going to spend a bit of time this evening planning how to make £20 tomorrow and make a start already and then will work from there (am very behind on surveys). Will update later if I have time as I think I made a bit today MB.
I will also try and catch up on this thread as usual there is just pages and pages of stuff!2025 decluttering: 3,550🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Sorry, QueenJess, no time to read and respond to your last post but welcome back anyway:beer:
Am just popping in to send out an SOS to Aesop (our tech expert:A) or anyone else who can help me please. Am going demented as can't find a way round the problem:o
Was prompted to install a massive update for Windows 10. I had to leave it running as it took hours, literally. Then I got a message to say (after the download etc) that it couldn't install because I haven't enough disk space left.
I deleted everything I felt it was safe to do but still not enough space. I haven't a portable hard drive or memory stick in the house, will probably have to go out first thing and buy one but was hoping I could fix it tonight.
The problem is how do I delete/uninstall the default apps that came on my laptop with Windows 10? I never use them (the Groove Music, film download stuff etc etc. Just can't find any way to get rid of them. Microsoft Support is no help and I don't want to have to contact them directly if I can help it.
I hope someone else has a way to solve this. I'm getting desperate as my battery needs charging up and I haven't an electrical socket available.
Thanks everyone, I know what stars you all are and someone is sure to know what I can do xx0 -
Funnily enough CBC, Ive had the very same thing. Windows said there wasnt enough room for update. Not quite sure why as I dont store pics or anything to be honest on the laptop.
Will watch with interest for any replies.
Hugs to everyone that needs one. XXX
Back to work tomorrow after a lovely little break.
Roll on March 9th when I get a full week off. :T
