    Hi all.

So sorry I'm not around much. Loads going on.

I went to look at our perfect rental on Monday. Got there and the house had been rented that morning before I got there :(

It was perfect. Garage for all my junk, driveway, quiet street, families around, near my DS best friend, near the aldi and asda....

I drove around looking at more. Another one that DH liked there are three houses having building work done!! I said no.

In moneymaking I have been doing a bit here and there.

Anyone doing vypr? Last couple of days had lots of steers.

OH no! So sorry you just missed out on your perfect rental:(.

Your dream home will be out there somewhere, maybe even better than this one that you just missed out on. You will find it eventually. Good luck:beer:

I second this Aesop. I am a believer in everything happens for a reason and the fact that that property wasn't available means you will find something better. Although having said that I know that it is hard to think like that when everything seems to be going wrong, in fact I need to remind myself to think that way right now!!

Sorry I am still a bit AWOL... Baby finally got over his illness, but then he kindly gave it to me and DH. I am better but now general parent stressing about whether baby is eating enough as he got quite thin, then I got dehydrated and not got enough milk.... basically lots of fun. So all in all no time for any money making.

Aesop - when I was buying a house I had a complete nightmare and lost 2 houses wasting 2 years of my time when sellers eventually pulled out. I was very upset, but we're now in a dream house that is much better than either of the other 2 and I am happy they didn't work out. Hopefully it'll be the same for you and it'll all work out for the best.

I don't have time to read everything I missed.. gotta run and drink lots of water to hydrate myself and hopefully baby.. fingers crossed.

    Evening

I received my first FiT payment today from the solar panels I had fitted at the end of September. It was a bit disappointing! £16.39

I am reminding myself that the readings were from October to January so all through winter with short, dark days so the next payment should be higher and the one after that higher still. I haven't seen a difference in my electricity bills yet either because I was with a company who didn't send bills at all and I have just left them after about 6 months so haven't been able to estimate usage yet. I am sure we are using a lot less from the grid but hopefully will know more once I get final readings from old company and get a bill from the new one. Watch this space...

Still £16.39 to add so total now £455.64

The bank still haven't taken back the extra switching bonus either but I will wait a bit longer before I add it just in case
