    Morning all

I can’t sleep! Been tossing and turning for ages then finished reading a book and now I have got up and made tea. I don’t usually have trouble sleeping but it is happening more and more lately. I am sure it is because of everything that is going on both at home and at work but knowing the reason doesn’t help in the middle of the night does it?

Anyway thought I would take the opportunity to update my totals as follows

    £8 moc Sainsbury’s
    £41.50 TopCashback
    70p citizenme

    Total now £419.02

You have my sympathies.........not very often that I dont sleep well an usually its when things arent going so well and mind goes into overdrive.

All I can suggest is dont drink normal tea if you make a drink!! Even if I drink tea after 5pm it disturbs my sleep. Cammomile or a night time tea better.

Happy birthday Lynne  Have a good day whatever you decide to do. Still no snow here which Im a little disappointed about. I bought some snow boots well over 5 years ago when we last had a large amount of snow and they have languished in my wardrobe ever since. Might need to dig them out over next few days if I get out walking.

Lovely feeling sat here approaching my usual work start time still in my dressing gown. Will have another brew before I get ready for yoga and work out how I am going to get my 20,000 steps in today.

Have a good day everyone. :D

Well done on such an amazing total and we're only halfway through the month:beer:

I can sympathise with the tossing and turning all night and being unable to sleep. It's happening to me regularly now for the first time that I can recall in my whole life. My mind is racing, I can't switch it off. However tired I am physically I just can't fall asleep and 4 hours later I'm still awake so I invariably get up, have a cup of tea and get on with something. I'm tending to doze in the evening for a few hours in front of the TV now but not for long enough to replenish my sleep deficit:(.

It's obviously because of all that's going on in my life at the moment (brother with terminal cancer, subsidence and electrical chaos in our house, the death of my adored cat (who helped me through some really black, tough times in the past) in October, OH usually being unsympathetic, money troubles etc etc. I feel ashamed of myself as I've always been able to cope with adversity, in fact people have told me I've helped them through bad times by my PMA, but everything seems to have come crashing down all at once. I'm NOT going to let it beat me though.

It's so true what you said about knowing what's causing it not being much help in the middle of the night:T. I just hope you will be able to find a solution soon and find some inner peace. Sending hugs:kisses3:. I think we both need them at the moment.

    Evening folks

Great to see that some of you
We were planning to go to the bowling centre tomorrow afternoon and then out for something to eat as it's going to be my birthday. However, we've taken a 'rain-check' or should that be 'snow-check' due to the awful weather and more forecast. Don't really fancy the sub-zero temperatures and white stuff without having to face it, IYSWIM.

Hope you all staying warm and safe and have a great Wednesday
    Lx

Sorry to hear the weather has put a stop to your birthday plans. The bowling and a meal sounds a lovely birthday treat:T.

Sending a nice big slice of cake and a big glass or two of your favourite tipple your way. Have a lovely day however you get to spend it:bdaycake::beer:

Thanks a million for the birthday wishes.

Sorry to read you not sleeping too well atm Shariann and CBC it's probably the stress though. Maybe a hot milky drink, warm socks and hot-water bottle will help and when you lay in bed you could try the old trick of imagining your body slowly relaxing, starting from the toes upwards.

Had a good day today, though didn't do much, but feel rested.

Hope you all have a great day tomorrow and stay warm and safe

Thanks Lynne. I'm just having a cup of herbal tea whilst catching up with the thread then I'm off to bed. Hopefully will sleep better tonight.

Hello. I'm up to £30.40 (£12 pinecone, I always forget to claim it, some interest, TCB, slidejoy and swags).

Hope everyone is alright. Thanks for explaining about Leftovers Aesop. Won't delete it yet, just in case. I might email MobX and have a whinge too.

Mobile xpressions won't back down for me. Oh well.

Leftovers seems to have started working again. But currently only for a few people namely ee customers. It never stopped for me just reduced.

So may soon be available again to others to sign up.
