    Hello #6 here.

I was so tempted by a lovely dress I saw in the charity shop on Tuesday but I resisted.

I'm very happy that January saw £0 spends on clothes yay :) That's £10 into my savings pot. Bring on February!

  • Well I'm still failing at not buying anything....fortunately everything has been in one sale or another! For Lent, as well as office snacks and nibbles, I'm going to give up taking my 'big' purse to work with all my cards in it and swap it out for a small purse and a bit of cash. OK and cashcard for emergencies, but none of my contactless or credit cards. I figure February to March payday is quite short, so shouldn't be too painful. But I work in the city centre and if I leave the office at lunchtime, I inevitably end up in either Debenhams or M&S.

    Sainsbury's 25% off TU, oops :(
  • Spent £26 on clothes for my little one, but at full price would have been £43, so not too bad. Hopefully they should last till next year.

#6 checking in. I broke my £10 only spend rule on Friday however it was needed.

I bought a black shirt for £6 in Asda, bargain but needed as I start a new job on Tuesday. Also I picked up a pair of boots in the New Look sale for £14 which were less than half price as well as a pair of fleece lined walking boot style boots for £15, again less than half price so total spend was £35. This is all I need for the forseeable future lol.

I've updated my sig with spends in store, but still waiting for click and collect orders. Couldn't resist hoodies in new colours at 25% off and then found a top I liked a day later.

Like you I don't envisage any more for the foreseeable.
  • Often lurk on this thread.

I received a birthday voucher from MandS today for £10! off any ladies socks or tights. Thought of this thread and that it may be some help to you guys. Not sure if this is a standard voucher from them, but could be worth getting the sparks card just in case :)

I need to join for March please.

I have Kondo'd such a lot RE; Spark Joy book, sold some and given to F & F or local charities. I'm currently happy with what is in my wardrobe but still have the bra's to sort mind. I have a lot of nice things but need to see what I have for a weekend away and a night out with the girls to save a panic buying session.

Need to redo the capsule wardrobe / have a count up and I guess try it all on to see what works together. Anything that is excess I may sell on ebay.

Brought some dye for beige jeans as i love the fit so will let you know how that goes if they turn blue or end up in the bin( hopefully not) fingers and toes crossed.

So £500 for me for the rest of the year given that I will be replacing a lot .

  • #10. Spends of 14 euros for February. This was for new trainers and a tracksuit for DD.

Hope everyone is OK and keeping warm!
