#6 checking in. Total spends for August were £30 but it was on black trousers for my new job as I didn't own any.
Total spends in September was £5.50 on a Tshirt with long sleeves, again I don't own many wintery clothers but I put £4.50 into savings from my £10 budget for the month.

#14 checking in.
Wow this year has gone so fast. It is so hard to believe we are almost in November.
First off, apologies for not checking in at all this year - I've been really bad at doing this across the board. Don't quite know where my focus went but it might have gone on holiday with my memory!
At the start of the year I set myself a max spend target of £140. And I was doing so well: I needed new summer sandals and managed to pick up two pairs for £40. Then I went looking for my new work shirts and I went a little over - £110 in total. I'm consoling myself with the fact they are really good quality cotton/linen blend that should last years.
Unfortunately that meant everything else was over budget too. I got two replacement bras in a sale for £36 and then had to do an emergency replacement on another when the underwire went whilst on holiday. I'm tempted not to include that since it came out of the holiday currency - technically a different budget? So if I don't include it, my balance is at £186. If I do - it is £200.
Even though I wasn't posting, just following this challenge always makes me stop and really think before I buy any more clothes. I'm really trying to make good use of my wardrobe stock.
So thank you for this challenge. It helps make sure I only buy what I need.
Take care
