If I were looking to move, I'd check the availability (inclusion) of parking as part of my decision process.
  • Excellent, a topic about parkling in a church car park has turned into an argument about whether the police attend burglaries. You couldn't make it up.

Also simply documenting crimes isn't really enough, people will stop bothering to report crimes and criminals will see a free lunch. Appearing to do something, even if futile, is a deterrent and builds relations with the public.

Imagine if people didn't report more devestating crimes because they didn't think they'd be taken seriously?

I understand the police is under more pressure with cuts and internet crime, but in this day and age why are we getting less service? Either they need more money or more efficiency

    Thought all churches were Christian?

Church near me, close to a large hospital rents out parking spaces to the hospital staff. Might be worth you asking the church

According to some Christians, some churches are Anti-Christian. https://www.catholic.com/tract/the-antichrist

You could always contact the Church to see whether they'd permit you to park there in return for an appropriate financial contribution ...

^^^^ This is was what I was going to suggest :)

Start going to church, hour a week for free parking seems like a deal. Like parents going to church to avoid school fees for a good school.

Some of my shoes are Church's but they are not Christian nor any other religion.

    They do however have soles.

But in your experience what more could they do?

The council weren’t forthcoming with cctv evidence, you don’t know who the offeneder(s) were and none of the locals reported seeing the offence take place.

What’s to be gained by sending someone out when it can be done ove the phone or online.

This is the unfortunate result when David Cameron said front line policing won’t be effected by the cuts.
