I had the dentist yesterday - a scale and polish plus replacing a filling that had fallen out. I only got charged for the scale and polish so £11.40 spent plus £1 on parking.

Today the car goes in for its MOT so just away to leave shortly to take it up to the garage. Fingers crossed it won't need any work.

The car passed its MOT with no work needed :T and I'd already paid for the MOT as I took out a 2 year plan when I bought the car. The insurance is due in November so hopefully I will have enough saved to pay for it without resorting to the credit card.

On Thursday, I went out for a walk and lunch with a friend- £8.30 spent on lunch plus £4 on parking. I also spent £10 on a mug tree and bread knife plus £11.51 on a top up shop (needed coffee, cheese and milk, also bought a cookie from the bakery section)

Yesterday was such a horrible day so we just stayed in the flat and had a film day. Today is all about watching the rugby and then I've got a leaving do for a colleague in the evening.

I really enjoyed my night out on Saturday, spent around £28 on food, drink and travel so not too bad. Felt fairly awful yesterday even though I didn't drink that much. We went to do the weekly shop so £28.86 spent. As reintroducing gluten and dairy into my diet has gone well, we had proper pizza last night for tea :D

Hoping for lots of NSDs this week as money is beginning to look a bit tight and I don't want to start dipping into the very small amount of savings I have. I've got a meal out on Wednesday with some friends who I've not seen for a while and me and OH are going round to a friend's for tea on Friday but no other plans for this week.

I cashed out £5.02 from PA yesterday so that had been paid to the debt :)

NSD yesterday :) £2.20 spent today on a birthday card for my sister and a stamp to send it. Still to get her present but have some money put aside for this.

Got my pay slip through so will get £1542.01 next Wednesday. Will do up a budget before then.

Not much else to report today - did go out a short walk but was struggling a little bit with abdominal pain, well more discomfort than pain. Not sure why but it was just around where the bottom of the scar is. I've got the stoma nurse on Thursday so will see if she has any ideas.

OH is coming down with a horrible cold, he sounds awful so I'm staying well clear of him, I definitely don't want to catch it!

I had a lovely meal out with friends on Wednesday, the food was amazing but more expensive than the usual places we go so £30 for 2 courses and a soft drink. Noticed that they do an early bird special of 2 courses for £15 so suggested to OH that we go at some point :D

Yesterday was the stoma nurse appointment which went well and she reassured me about the pain I had earlier in the week. Haven't had it again though. NSD as just came home after the appointment and had a lazy day.

Today we went a lovely walk down by the river and then nipped past Lid! on the way home to get a few bits for over the weekend - £9.69 spent. Out tonight round to our friends for tea, found a bottle of wine in the cupboard to take with us. I'll put some petrol in the car while we're out as the petrol light came on yesterday on the way home from the hospital. Today I've also spent £30 on a birthday present for my sister.

Today has been a NSD. Not done much today - watched rugby this morning, walk with OH in the afternoon and have made soup. Other than that, a very relaxing day. Tomorrow should be a NSD as well, planning to watch the rugby and then give the flat a good clean.

Had a lovely walk along the beach yesterday. It was a windy day so we watched the waves crashing and saw a double rainbow :). We then walked up a small hill which gives fantastic views of the beach and sea. It was a NSD :D

We finally finished sorting through clothes and have 2 bin bags full to go to the charity shop. I could do with some more long tops/jumpers/dresses to go over leggings as I find them more comfortable than jeans to wear at the moment. I could also do with a new pair of boots, the pair I have are very comfy and will be kept for walks/work but I'd like a new pair that are smarter looking.

I got an email from my insurer with next year's car insurance price - £387 which is over £60 more expensive than this year so will need to have a look around, I'm sure I can get it cheaper.

Not much planned for today - my parents are coming up for a few days so I will pop round to my gran's later on to see them.
