Not spent much over the last few days, just £3.25 on bread, milk and eggs and £2.50 on shampoo. Need to get more bread today so will have a look to see if there's anything else we need, will aim to keep it under £10 as we're already over budget for food this month.

Thinking about starting a new diary for next year, feels like a fresh start is needed. Anyway, need to go and get ready for work, hope everyone has a good Sunday :)

Just got bread and sugar today so £1.44 spent.

Bought flights to visit some friends today using credit from cancelled flights when I was in hospital, had to pay an extra £60 but a nice weekend to look forward to at the start of February.

Had a look at the budget today - with this month's over spends on food and petrol, the flights and debt payment plus I've already paid the rent, council tax and home insurance, that leaves £938.34 for January.

£500 will cover the rest of the bills plus my car payment, £50 towards weekend away, £80 presents (have a friend's birthday, my mum's birthday and my sister's baby is due), £70 petrol, £10 clothes, £10 home, £30 me (to cover getting my eyebrows done and any social things), £10 car fund, £10 emergency fund, £168.34 food. It's a much reduced food budget compared to previous months but there's plenty of food in the house and I've got £10 worth of morries vouchers which can be used if we're running low on funds.
