Thanks INOD. I had a lovely time away - lots of fresh air, exercise, beautiful scenery, limited phone signal and no Wi-Fi so it really did feel like a complete break. Only downside was the weather wasn't brilliant but other than that...
. Came back up yesterday but not back at work until Monday so got a few days to relax and catch up with OH and friends.
Spends while I was away
- £104.24 on boat tickets, parking, entry to 2 evening events, food and a wee present for OH which I'm pretty pleased with
- £65.12 on petrol (still have a half tank left)
Spent £20 on a takeaway last night for me and OH as I didn't get back up until late then have spent £59.19  on food and toiletries today. OH did the food shop with me which always makes it more expensive!
So current budgets look like £214.24/£250 holiday/social, £150.93/£200 food/toiletries and £83.37/£110 petrol. Hmm not looking particularly healthy and payday is 17 days away. I also have plans tonight and tomorrow with friends.
I got paid £41.37 from 2nd job today - £28 replaced what I had spent on the race entry, £12 to the car fund and £1.37 to the debt. I also cashed out with PA, £23.80. I've paid £3.80 to the debt and put the £20 into the social fund. I'm going to look at my diary and see if there's any dates where I can pick up an extra shift with 2nd job.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Oops didn't realise it had been a week since I last posted. Spent a lot at the weekend but it's been fairly low spend since then.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Spent £14.35 in the supermarket today which leaves £31.29 for the rest of the month and payday is still 9 days away
I've managed to pick up a shift with 2nd job tomorrow, dreading it as it's somewhere I've never been before so I don't know what to expect but it's only for a few hours and it will get me a much needed £25 (ish). This will get paid on Friday and then I'll get paid from main job on Monday.
I've got less than quarter a tank of petrol left so will need to get more but planning to put in £10 which should last the week. I also forgot to get a couple of things at the supermarket but should manage to get those for less than £10.
Feeling a bit deflated as the last pay I got was the most I have ever got and I'm still limping towards the end of the month and next payday without having made much of a dent in the debt.
Part of the reason was the holiday which was great but the rest...
Had an interesting chat with OH today about the future and what we want in the next couple of years so enough of feeling sorry for myself. Best get ready for shift tomorrow and go to bed.

Shift completed today and timesheet handed in. Really enjoyed it and would definitely go back, however, it was a place that I had to wear a uniform for and my uniform was very tight feeling
. As I can wear my own clothes for the majority of shifts, I can't remember when I last had it on but I mind it felt huge last time. Decided to weigh myself and the results were not pretty - I've put on almost a stone and a half :mad:, knew I'd put on weight but didn't realise it was that much
so healthy eating and increased exercise starts tomorrow.
Spent £11.08 at the supermarket today, more than I'd hoped for but bought a Sunday paper and had to buy full price gf bread. Didn't get petrol as the queue was huge, couldn't be bothered waiting and the petrol station closer to home is almost 10p a litre more expensive so will get tomorrow instead.
Had a yummy roast dinner courtesy of OH and watched a film. Also did a deep clean of the bathroom and caught up on some ironing.
Decided to input my debt details into the snowball calculator which I haven't done for 2 years. If I keep up the current rate of repayments, my DFD will be November 2021 so the challenge is on to bring that forwardMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

A NSD today
, decided my car can survive without petrol for another day.
Went for a run after work and had a healthy salad for tea - operation weight loss has commenced :rotfl:
Picked up a shift with 2nd job on Saturday, it's a bit longer so should get around £35 next Friday
Pay slip is through for main job so will do the budget for August over the next few days.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

You are always doing amazing misstara. I don't comment much but I am reading your diary and cheering you on on the sidelines. I work full time and have a second job as well. It's really tiring isn't it. I'm struggling for motivation with it at the moment but you seem to really keep on going with yours.0

Did the rate of repayment from snowball take account of all the extra bits you pay?
I too had a weighty moment yesterday. It was a bit cooler here and we were going for dinner so I grabbed a pair of presentable (my most expensive ever) pair of jeans. I probably could have gotten the zip up by lying on the floor. I just wasn't sure that I'd be able to stand up without the button taking high speed flight!Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Hi Rachel, thanks for posting. It is tiring having 2 jobs but it will be worth it in the end. I was really struggling for motivation earlier this month but I've been reading lots of diaries on here over the last week and that seems to have boosted my motivation again

Hi INOD. No I just put in my car repayment and rounded up the monthly credit card repayment so just the basics. It will come down quicker with the extra payments I make, in fact it's already come forward a month as car payment went out yesterday
Sorry to hear about your weighty moment. Unfortunately I've got a pair of jeans that won't even fit over my thighs at the moment :eek:Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Yesterday was a NSD
. Today I've got a day off work - I've been to the supermarket to get a couple of things (£4.20) and also got petrol (£10.51). I've now got £5.50 left in my purse which is plenty in case we need anything tomorrow.
I'll get paid £26.40 on Friday so £10 for food over the weekend, £10 to the car fund and £6.40 to the debt.
Got washing on the line, away to cut the grass then clean the flat and meeting my friend later for a run so a productive day off. Just need to finish my coffee firstMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
