Had a bit of a horrible shift at my work today but at least it was followed by a nice one at 2nd job :D. It's been another NSD. Day off tomorrow which is very much needed.

Thanks INOD, I will try :)

So far this morning, I've had a nice wee lie in and pottered about in the garden. Just relaxing with a coffee and then will head out shortly to pick up a few bits from the supermarket and get some petrol.

A direct debit went out today so rounded down my account and paid £2.02 to the debt :)

Spent £21.09 on petrol and £25.60 on food and cleaning products. Sat and watched a film with OH in the afternoon and went round to my gran's in the evening. My parents are up visiting her at the moment so it was lovely to see them and I came home with a bag full of produce from their garden, eggs and jam :D

Another NSD today other than buying some stuff for work which will get reimbursed at some point next week.

Another NSD :D. Went out for a run after work with my friend - we did 8.5k. The 10k is 2 weeks away so nearly there. Best get off to bed as start at 7am and then doing a shift for 2nd job after my work so a long day to look forward to. Never mind, the extra money makes it worthwhile :)

Both shifts went well today although am now very tired. Spend day as needed milk and lip balm, also treated myself to juice and chocolate. Bought some more stuff for work, am now owed over £32 but will get it back before the end of the week.

Do you think when you are debt free you will give up the second job? You just seem so full of energy in your posts :-) can't beat some chocolate!

Probably not, it's for an agency so I can just pick up shifts when I want so will be handy for some extra cash in the run up to Christmas or saving for a holiday. Plus I really enjoy it, I usually go to the same places where I've been going for about 9 years now so it's nice catching up with everyone :)

Haven't posted for ages, work has been incredibly busy and stressful over the past week or so - several staff having personal issues so feel like a counselor, a few incidents to deal with and to top it off an inspection by the Care Inspectorate. Hopefully tomorrow will be relatively painless and then I've got 3 days off :j

We had a lovely time in Edinburgh last weekend and very low cost, just petrol money and a contribution towards a takeaway :)

Budgets are generally ok, bit tight as usual in the week running up to payday but better than some previous month's. Tomorrow night I'm going out for a few drinks with the girls from work, can't really afford it but we could all do with letting off some steam so going to go anyway :p

OH has somehow managed to lose his phone  the insurance will cover it but I'll need to check how much the excess is. The emergency fund will cover it but still very annoying, he will then put the money back in when he can.

In other not so great news, I think the hoover might be on its last legs, it sounds funny and is not picking up that well. I'll check all the tubes to make sure nothing is stuck and wash the filter to see if that helps. If not, unfortunately a new one will have to go on the credit card as we just don't have the funds to pay cash. It is pretty ancient though, we've had it at least 4 years and it was given to us by a family member who had it for about 10 years before that. My heated airer has definitely gone kaput but as it's less than a year old, it's covered by the guarantee so will phone tomorrow regarding that.

Got my payslip through, payday is a week today :D so will start working on a budget over the weekend. Best get off to bed, I'll try to start posting more regularly again.
