Today has been a NSD
. Will need a couple of things tomorrow though. Budgets all up to date in YNAB, think I'll keep it on once the free trial has ended because think it is helping.
Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
Mortgage overpayment savings - £3.33/£50
Mortgage overpayments so far - £675.980 -
Both me and OH have been ill with the lurgy for the past week hence the lack of posting. Still sounding pretty ropey but at least my energy levels are returning to normal
Food budget is not looking great as just been grabbing ready meals from the supermarket but payday is a week tomorrow so will manage.
I've managed to save £200 for our weekend away which will hopefully be this weekend, I've booked a hotel but it can be cancelled for free if need be so going to make a decision tomorrow as OH still doesn't feel that well.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Thanks monz, it was really lovely
. Weather was gorgeous which helped and managed to stick to the budget
Really not much to report since coming back, had a very relaxing day yesterday and spent most of today with my gran. Not back at work until Friday which is nice, tomorrow is flat blitz day as it is a tip :eek:Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Well the flat is now beautiful and sparkly clean, just need to keep on top of it now
Payday today - £1770.96
- £1100 usual bills
- £200 food/cleaning/toiletries
- £150 car
- £50 petrol
- £50 presents (leaving gift for colleague and sister's birthday)
- £100 car fund
- £50 electricity bill
- £70.96 debt repayment
I've added extra to the car fund as I'm very aware that November is getting close and I don't have anywhere near enough saved for the insurance and MOT.
I'm due a small amount from 2nd job tomorrow, not sure how much exactly as I can't access my pay slip on my tablet and haven't been at work but think it will be around £30. That will be my social fund. Will phone 2nd job tomorrow and see if I can pick up shifts as haven't got anything booked.
My free trial with YNAB is almost up and I've decided to keep it. Obviously I don't have enough money to pay for it so it will have to go on the credit card. I know that seems counterproductive but I think it will be worth it in the long run.
