OH has a new phone, sorted within 24 hours and only £30 to pay for the excess :D Heated airer will be replaced for free, just waiting for it to be delivered :D and the hoover is now working again :D

However, part of my tooth broke off earlier  so will have to phone the dentist tomorrow, who knows what it will cost :(

Did the 10k yesterday and went out for brunch with my friend afterwards which was lovely. I've now only got £10 left in my account and some loose change in my purse but payday is on Thursday so that will easily last.

Decided to download the free trial of YNAB to see if that helps keep me in track. I had been using a free budgeting app but it only tracked my spending and it was hard to keep track of savings for various things.

I haven't used a spreadsheet since school monz, I don't think I would mind how to :rotfl:

    So budget time - £1745.71
    - £1100 usual bills
    - £200 food/toiletries/cleaning
    - £150 car
    - £40 car fund
    - £40 electricity bill
    - £40 emergency fund
    - £50 social
    - £50 petrol
    - £75.71 debt

I've got some time off work in late September and I'd like to go away somewhere with OH, even just for a night. We've not had a weekend away (other than staying with family) since December last year so it would be really nice. Unfortunately there's no spare cash in the budget :( so any extra money I make from 2nd job will go towards funding this.

Quick post before bed - dentist appointment is booked for tomorrow, hopefully it won't cost more than £50 as that's all there is in the emergency fund. Spent £3.42 on bread and milk on the way home from work.

under £8500 and having £250 saved in the car fund.

That was my aim for before August's payday. Payday tomorrow and current debt is £8547.61 and car fund £200 so didn't make the target I'd set :( Before September payday I'd like the debt to be under £8275 and under £1000 for debt other than car loan. I'd also like to save an additional £75 in the car fund taking it to £275.

Got a full tank of petrol on Thursday which cost £45.39. I'd only budgeted £50 for the whole month so will need to up that.

NSDs Friday and today. Yesterday I took part in Gung Ho with some friends, it's a 5k run with inflatable obstacles which was fun. We went out for lunch afterwards which cost £16.35. I also went to Asd@ to get milk and some df bits, ended up spending £12.96 :o

Tomorrow I've got an eye test and then meeting some friends for tea. I also need to get a new bulb for the kitchen light.
