Love gammon. DH makes a mushroom risotto to which we add gammon when we have it. Amazing.

Ooo that sounds amazing INOD :D

Spends today were £12.80 on the meal out, £2 on parking and £18.32 on petrol which leaves £54.03 for the rest of the month. Didn't go food shopping as there was nothing that we actually needed today so will hold off until we do.

Yesterday and Friday were NSDs :). On Saturday, I spent £23 on food shopping so now have £24.76 left until payday on Thursday, easily manageable.

Weekend off from main job and had a mostly relaxing weekend. I did a short shift for 2nd job yesterday, haven't done one for ages so thought I better show face and it's an extra £40 :). Other than that, I mostly sat out in the garden as it's been gorgeous weather.

Pay slip is through so will need to start working on a budget. Better go and get ready for work just now.

Yesterday was a NSD :). The last of the direct debits went out of my account and I've made a tiny £1.02 payment to the debt.

Have realised I really really need to get some money saved in the car fund - MOT and insurance are both due in November and I haven't got a penny saved so need to make this a priority.

Great idea INOD :). I've now got £16.50 left after a small top shop yesterday plus a coffee at training. £6.50 is in my purse and I've transferred the £10 to the car fund to start me off. It's a good incentive to keep the food budget under control.

Budget for July is just about done, will post it later.

Pay this month is a bit higher than usual as I got some extra money for holiday average.

    Budget - £2103.80
    - £1100 usual bills
    - £200 food/cleaning/toiletries
    - £250 holiday/social
    - £150 car
    - £30 presents
    - £50 electricity bill
    - £50 emergency fund
    - £60 car fund
    - £110 petrol
    - £40 clothes
    - £63.80 debt

£110 of the holiday/social budget is for my sister to pay for the accommodation. I've added an extra £50 on top of the usual petrol budget for travel costs for the holiday.

I will get paid around £40 on Friday from 2nd job so that will go into the car fund with anything over £40 getting paid to the debt. I've picked up another shift with them next week so that will be another £40ish for the car fund :D

Just had a quick check back in my diary and at the end of May I was aiming to be under £9000 by my next payday. The debt currently stands at £9006.63 so didn't quite make it but almost :). Once I make the payments tomorrow, it will be £8942.83 :D. I'm aiming for under £8750 and £200 saved in the car fund by next payday.
