Beautiful day here so spent most of it outside - cut the grass and sat out in the garden for a bit in the morning and then went to the park in the afternoon
. Nothing spent today
Budget for June - £1945.54
Usual bills - £1100
Car - £150
Petrol - £60
Food/toiletries/cleaning - £200
Social - £50
Presents - £35
Holiday - £50
Electricity bill - £100
Emergency fund - £50
Car fund - £50
Debt repayment - £100.54
£35 presents is to cover father's day and a leaving gift for someone at work. I owe my sister £110 for accommodation for a family holiday in July- we're all staying in a cottage for a week on one of the Scottish islandsso I'm paying £50 from this pay and £60 from June's pay. Anything extra money in May from surveys or shifts with 2nd job will be split between saving up some spending money and extra debt repayments. I'll also try to make savings in the budget above to put towards this.

It's been a NSD - walked to the post office after work to post a dress to my sister and of course it was closed due to the BH, had totally forgotten, will go tomorrow. At least I got a walk in beautiful sunshine.
Pottered about in the garden after work then cleaned the flat and did a bit of ironing. Super tired now so will head to bed soon.
Made a decision that I'm going to phone tomorrow to book a haircut for next week, it's not budgeted for but will use money from emergency fund and replace. I've been saying since January that I need a haircut and still haven't beenMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Yesterday I popped to the supermarket to get yummy breakfast stuff and a cake for the girl who is leaving work today. I wasn't planning to get anything else but £15.09 later...:o I also forgot to take my lunch with me so £3 spent there too. Going to sit down with OH after work today and make a meal plan.
The electricity bill came through and it is  Unfortunately this is the first time I've submitted a meter reading in 7 monthsso it's been underestimated for quite some time, will be making sure I submit reading regularly in the future. Bill is £439.79 :mad: obviously I do not have this amount of money saved so need to come up with a plan.

It's for electricity and gas, had another look and the last time a proper meter reading was submitted was August last year. I guess it was just really underestimated over winterMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Sat down with OH on Saturday and made a meal plan then popped to the supermarket to get what was needed - £9.47 spent.
Yesterday I completed the kiltwalk - 26 miles :T. Only spend was £4 on a couple of coffees, OH then treated me to a takeaway afterwards
Today has been a NSD, worked a 14 hour shift which wasn't great as I'm extremely stiff. Still to rejig the budgets to cover the electricity bill but too tired to think about it just now. Off to bed, will sort it tomorrow.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
