    Yesterday was a NSD :D

Was supposed to go out for tea with the girls tonight but it's been rescheduled. Spent £6.50 on a few bits in the supermarket plus £2.50 on a big issue and £2.50 on a couple of books from the charity shop.

Haven't posted for a few days as work has been super busy, feel like all I do is work at the moment :(

Spent £11.12 on a scale and polish at the dentist today plus £43.56 on a big shop, should take us through to the end of the month.

Got my payslip today so will start working on May's budget.

Stupidly forgot to lift my lunch from the fridge yesterday so spent £2.30 in the shop. Went a walk after work round the park, thankfully got back to the car before it started to pour down.

    Payday :j

    Budget - £1981.04
    - £1100 usual bills
    - £200 food/cleaning/toiletries
    - £150 car repayment
    - £117.91 car fund
    - £40 emergency fund
    - £40 electricity bill
    - £60 petrol
    - £180 social/personal
    - £93.13 debt repayment

Car tax was actually £195 for 12 months so added £117.91 to what was left in the fund. That's now been paid so car fund is at £0.

£200 for food, cleaning supplies and toiletries worked well last month so will go with that again this month.

£93.13 debt repayment has been split £70 to flat debt and £23.13 to car debt. Current debt now stands at £9603.45, aim to be under £9300 by end of May.

£180 for personal and social spends - I've transferred £45 to my friend to cover my share of the accommodation for the wedding and also treated myself to a serum, eye cream and cleansing lotion which was £39 with a £5 off voucher. I've taken this out of personal spends rather than the toiletries budget as they were a want rather than a need. So that leaves £96 in that budget to cover a weekend away for the wedding, a meal out with friends, a night out with OH and friends and I've got a week off work in May so hoped to do a few things with OH and catch up with people I haven't seen for ages. I've borrowed a dress from my sister for the wedding but could do with some sandals and a bag plus I really need new undies and socks. Really need to get creative with the budget!

Spends for today have been £39 on the already mentioned toiletries plus £6 on toothpaste and shower gel. I had a contact lens appointment and was told to get eye drops to help with dryness, got the recommended ones which were £10.49  Me and OH also got a takeaway - Chinese :D We shared a starter, a main and prawn crackers and got the rice from the supermarket to save costs - £18.87 which included 2 ciders and a pudding from the supermarket. I've also paid next month's rent and council tax. So a very spendy day today - must try and get some NSDs in now.

Managed a few NSDs which was good. Went shopping yesterday and got a bag, sandals and some socks for £15.50 so happy with that. That budget now stands at £80.50. Will definitely need to get some food and petrol tomorrow.

It's been a NSD. Went for a run after work and then could not be bothered going food shopping. Will need to go tomorrow and get petrol too.

Thanks ABA. Yep life is certainly busy at the moment but only 2 days of work left until 9 days off on holiday :D

Spent £43.26 on food yesterday and £29.98 on petrol so that's us stocked up again.

Made a £2.72 payment to the debt this morning :D

Just away to head into work and then planning a walk after work, it should be a NSD.
