Poor little hens :( But they sound like they were well loved and cared for x
  • 1. IF I NOTICE SOME SMALL TASK NEEDS DOING - I WILL DO IT IMMEDIATELY

    2. I WILL LEAVE A ROOM TIDIER THAN WHEN I WENT IN - WITHOUT HIDING THE CLUTTER EXCEPT for the wardrobe room which is currently the storage room (sr)

marmiterulesok & villagelife & edwink - numbers still ticking over nicely :T:j Sorry about the hens, edwink.

Today was a very lazy day - the sun was hot, hot, hot & I made the most of it. So no project work done today & several of my daily tasks missed as well :o

DSis has emptied another two boxes - the boxes have been dismantled ready to go in the loft - 6 in all & a crate. Treated herself to a bath & hair wash :rotfl:

DH is continuing to declutter his office & also went food shopping - not happy when he came back as he got caught in a traffic jam on the way to Mr S so was grumpy before he even walked into the sm :( & he dislikes shopping at the best of times :( He only does it as he knows I truly loathe shopping of any sort !

More pottering today - aired then made bed, general tidying, washing up done as & when, dried & put away, tightened toilet flush handle AGAIN, worktops wiped down, shopping put away immediately DH returned, leftover cottage pie boxed & leftover Yorkshire’s bagged & both put in freezer (just enough space :rotfl:), sugar bowl refilled, birdies water bowls topped up, oven wiped down - finally :o & a small tidy up of the spare room.
Salad for dinner - I cannot believe the amount of packaging I had to bin

B1241 - B1245 Plastic bottle rinsed, large cardboard box broken down, 2 food tins rinsed, paper bag - ALL recycled

B1246 - B1265 Two non recyclable plastic trays & packaging, wire wool, 15 non recyclable plastic bags, two non recyclable pots - ALL binned

B1266 - B1274 Two tall glasses, three plastic shot glasses, 2 plastic coat hangers & 2 pretty padded coat hangers - CS

So a reasonably good day & the sun shone brightly :rotfl:

Just a few bits for me today but don't fancy celebrating that they have gone because I have lost 2 of my little hens today. My elderly indoor ex-batt hen went to hen heaven during the night and then at lunchtime my Bluebell 6yr old hen went whilst I was sitting with her :(

    I am sorry.

Today was an out of the house day - and the sun was hot, hot, hot again. So no project work done today & several of my daily tasks missed as well :o

DH is continuing to declutter his office & found my motor biking trousers for our holiday which starts Friday :T:T

Caught bus (to activate DSis’s new Oyster Card :T) to Clinic - DSis now registered. Then we walked to Leisure Centre & made enquiries about membership to use the pool. Then a nice stroll home along the dockside - watching sailors & rowers. My minimal pottering today - aired then made bed, general tidying, washing up done as & when, dried & put away, worktops wiped down, sugar bowl, teabag & coffee jars - all refilled, birdies water bowls topped up by DSis, inside bins emptied into appropriate wheelie bins
Salad for dinner again - even more packaging I had to bin

B1275 - B1276 Two Plastic milk cartons rinsed & recycled

B1277 - B1284 Two non recyclable plastic trays & packaging, 3 non recyclable plastic bags, non recyclable pot & lid, small black bag of rubbish from DH & small bag of rubbish from DSis - ALL binned

No phone call from cs re collection & always engaged when I called :( so still cannot list the furniture etc that will create space in living room, dining room, DH’s office, spare room & garden :(

I see we are all ticking over with the day to day tasks :D Wednesday & Thursday are just keeping the house tidy ready for DH & I to leave on our holiday tomorrow. Motor biking to Germany via Belgium with two other couples & the organiser for 10 days & then a couple of days at my DB’s place in Germany & then a 2 day trip home :T:T:j:j I am filled with trepidation as my DSis will be in my house on her own -I really hope she doesn’t rearrange my house or leave all the windows open when she goes out & let my home get burgled  She keeps forgetting it is not like living in the middle of nowhere in rural France :o

Yesterday DSis & I delivered the two large heavy bags of donations to cs - or tried to - it was closed but fortunately found an office which is also being used by “I  Community” - new people but they opened up the warehouse for our donations + I now have the phone number for the young man who actually arranges furniture collections :T:j
DSis & I had a drink in a local pub then visited the Vape shop & she is all set up :j

The major decluttering is now on hold until DH & I get back from our holidays, so have just been ticking over re my no’s. 1 & 2

My minimal pottering yesterday & today - aired then made bed, general tidying, washing up done as & when, dried & put away, worktops wiped down, sugar bowl and teabag jar - both refilled, birdies water bowls topped up by DH, bird feeders filled by DH, inside bins emptied into appropriate wheelie bins, kitchen floor swept

B1285 - B1293 Four non recyclable bags, non rec.pot & packaging, three non rec. trays & packaging, knackered washing up sponge - ALL binned

B1294 - B1298 Three plastic bottles, plastic milk carton & glass wine bottle - ALL rinsed & recycled

Not quite reached the B1300 but it is only 3 p.m. !

‘See’ you all when we get back :T (I will be reading daily:rotfl:)
