1. IF I NOTICE SOME SMALL TASK NEEDS DOING - I WILL DO IT IMMEDIATELY
2. I WILL LEAVE A ROOM TIDIER THAN WHEN I WENT IN - WITHOUT HIDING THE CLUTTER EXCEPT for the wardrobe room which is currently the storage room (sr)
marmiterulesok & villagelife - numbers still ticking over nicely :T:j
Today was yet another pottering day for me (seems to be the way for me to go :rotfl:) - no work done on my ‘Wall unit of Doom’ BUT still admiring the space created by restacking the crates & boxes yesterday :rotfl:
DSis has been busy again - she has sorted her clothes and started on her ornaments. This afternoon she went for an exploratory walk & visited Mudchute Farm - she was surprised at how large the farm & Park are & she was pleased to see there is also a riding school
Reward for DH’s hard work helping DSis over the past three weeks is that he got to watch all 3 of the motorbike races in peace - Moto3 only half the riders finished , Moto2 boring as usual & MotoGP exciting as usual. Then he came downstairs with half a bag of rubbish & a box of personal papers (which I offered to shred :rotfl: I find using the shredder cathartic :rotfl:) & did a few bits - trimmed the hedge, put two bags of partially composted garden waste round the olive tree, filled bird feeders, cleaned out the garden box used to store bird & squirrel feed & extra feeders - we like to rotate food & feeders for the birdies - & used his dust buster to vacuum kitchen floor. Then he returned to his office & carried on with his decluttering
My pottering today included two loads of washing, drying, folding & putting away - one load mine & one load DSis’s, airing then making bed, general tidying, indoor bins emptied into appropriate wheelie bins, washing up done as & when, dried & put away, stale bread cut into croutons, bagged & frozen, worktops wiped down, sofas dusted & cushions turned, shredding, DM’s sewing tin provided me with the correct thickness thread & a proper darning needle - made darning a pair of DH’s socks a joy rather than a chore :rotfl: wonderful how happy having the proper equipment makes me :rotfl: the crate of books has been bagged up for cs + various other bits from France for cs (the items & number of books are listed below)
B1130 - B1137 Newspaper, plastic jar, two toilet roll inners, plastic pot rinsed, plastic milk carton rinsed, large cardboard box broken down, Food Tin rinsed - ALL recycled
B1138 - B1163 Four non recyclable plastic trays & packaging, three non recyclable plastic bags, large non recyclable bag, two bits of non recyclable packaging, small bag of general detritus, 300 sheets of personal papers being listed as 15 items - ALL binned
B1164 - B1165 Mushroom peelings to wormery, potato peelings to compost bin
B1166 - B1233 Four CDs, mousetrap, 9 small curtain rings, 18 piece Manicure Set - still boxed, canvas Pudsey Bear shopping bag, 46 children’s books, 6 old diaries really nice picture pages for crafting - CS
B1234 - B1239 Six children’s books as a gift to cousin
B1240 Empty lidded crate put in loft
So yet another good day & the sun shone occasionally & it didn’t rain even though it was very windy & overcast :rotfl:

MrsSD even on pottering days you achieve more than I do. Well done.
814-815 buttons used to sew on DS2 shirt. Not left the house but now used for their purpose. Couldn't find one suitable for his shorts so moved a button from a pocket.
816 another moisturiser sample used up.
817 more paperwork shredded. Counting it as been left by shredded and not immediately shredded.
It's going to be much easier again to leave room tidier than it was as DH had returned from a short break and he is obviously the messy w.0 -

Just a few bits for me today but don't fancy celebrating that they have gone because I have lost 2 of my little hens today. My elderly indoor ex-batt hen went to hen heaven during the night and then at lunchtime my Bluebell 6yr old hen went whilst I was sitting with her
