Thanks DIA
Feeling better today . Haven't eaten anything yet , but am on the bus so soon I will he fed .
There is a murder scene in Bournemouth at present . A certain area taped up and lots of police everywhere .
I had blood tests at 920 am .
I got measured by mr trainer . He will send over results and hope to have another session on Friday . On Monday I will be interviewed by him and filmed discussing my journey . Not the bus journey but my 36 months of change etc
My waist size is 35" now . When I first moved here it was 40" I'll be given the rest of the info in due course . Coming off of that prednisolone got rid of a lot of fluid retention I was holding . Something like that .
Tomorrow - dentist . Friday mr trainer. I'm definitely busier which hopefully should pay off eventually ..0 -

Oh that's not good.
Hope the results of the blood test are good and I'm glad you're feeling a bit better today x0 -
Hi AC - just mooching round the forums today as I am totally unmotivated to do anything more useful You are doing really well I see and have come a long way in 3 years. Coming off the meds. and keeping going with the exercise is obviously paying off.
I have a lot of sympathy re job=seeking etc. as eldest was in a similar position a couple of years ago. Some of the job centre people were very helpful but others not so much. Still that's life I guess.
I am still plodding on and about to have some work done on my kitchen so will be in for a bit of disruption for a week or two. Alfie cat won't be happy at other people being in his space. He has only just forgiven me for taking him to the vets when he seemed unwell the other week, and had a small cut on his paw. Nothing serious - healthwise at least, although not so good financially - so he is still "plodding on" with me, although he is currently asleep in such a position that it will be very difficult for me to stand up easily withoiut disturbing him.
Hope all the medical results are good. I am now at the age when I keep getting "invited" to have all sorts of tests and screenings. Let's just say it's been top to toe, with all the bits in between as well. So far so good but my weight loss journey still hasn't actually got out of the station.
Hope you have a good autumn/winter, and all the problems get resolved or at least improved.0 -
Thanks dreaming . Nice to hear from you again .
Glad Alfie is still in charge
Hope the kitchen refurb goes well .
I'm sure it'll look great and Alfie will approve once it's done
Have a great winter period also .
My blood tests are routine , but only because I'm on azathioprine and thankfully off of prednisolone . Also because of a d7 calcium tablet for bones as the medication weakens them .,
As for the rest , I would think that universal credit should avoid sending me to inappropriate places at totally wrong hours now that I'm going to court .
So many people at my age go part time anyway , so I believe I should be able to do the same eventually . I'll carry on complying snd see what gives..0 -
Went to dentist yesterday for 6 monthly hygienist and checkup by dentist . Thankfully no more work needs doing...yet!
I will need new crowns on a few bottom teeth apparently next year.
I'm still awaiting appointment for wisdom tooth to be removed in Poole Hsp . Mrs dentist did say that after the operation then I can have crowns . The annoying thing is I spent a lot on my teeth over the last couple of years ..but they still find something
I pay just under £20 pm so yesterday's appointment cost nothing .
When I do get crowns , they should cost less due to the £20 pm I'm paying . I suppose I'm left with a nasty taste in my mouth , whatever way you look at it ..
So , this morning I got a text to sign into my universal credit journal.
I see a message from my work coach advising me that he cannot be available with my " work search review by phone " on Thursday 5 Dec
945 am . I will now be called by Andrew .Cutting the crap , this is them putting pressure on me forcing me to look or work . Standard bullying rubbish by the gvt .
This appointment has only been added to my journal , ontop of the
" work and health outcome appointment " on Monday at 3pm
For somebody not 100% and unemployed , I've been very busy indeed
I must admit that I expected the text this morning , to be advising me of my court appointment regarding my ltd capability to work .
Maybe that text is imminent.
I was going to add to my journal the appointment with c a b on Monday and the job club on Tuesday , but I decided against it .
That will probably be discussed on Monday ...
This morning I'm due to see mr trainer for another appointment .
He hasn't sent me a text cancelling , so I should roll up late morning
Hopefully he'll have the results from my measurements on weds and hopefully they'll be an improvement since last time ...
Thought I'd better return the call to my crazy brother. He couldn't believe how long I've been down here. It's hard work talking to someone who talks / shouts on the speaker of his mobile as he has problems with his ears. It makes me shout and after approx 2 hrs I was exhausted. He did advise me not to get a new boiler until the maintenance co I used say they can't do anymore with it . Not bad advice .
My friend may come over helping me with my wardrobe issues.
It's been a long week..0 -
We've been having boiler problems too, and now need a new pump, which our boiler guy has ordered, and will be round Monday to fit it. So, no heating until then! Luckily, we have a Calor gas portable fire, so got that in the living room, plus a little halogen heater, and an oil filled radiator that we can use upstairs to take the chill off.
It does seem that dentists always find more stuff to do! I hope your monthly payments are enough to cover the cost of everything.
Is your brother one of those people that don't let you get a word in edgeways? 2 hours is a long time to spend on the phone, no wonder you were tired. Still, you've done your duty, and can avoid him again for a while hopefully!
Have a good weekend.0 -
Thanks gigervamp
Yes , sounds like you know my brother
Glad you have emergency heating backup .
Have a good weekend also..0 -
UC keep you on the go don't they. At least you have support and will be able to challenge any dodgy decisions now.
How did the Mr Trainer measurements go?
I have the dentist next week too. Hoping for a clean slate...hmmm
I hope you are enjoying a drink with your friend this weekend. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Went to Poole to do some food shopping . Felt rough most of the day afterwards , and watched the very last episodes of the brilliant Spiral French drama series . I thought that initially the last series was the final one , but this series was brilliant and it's a Shame it had to end .
Today is the 3 year anniversary of moving everything down to Poole in the big yellow storage co. I travelled there with removal guys had a couple of beers with them and got back to a bare house minus the microwave , a kettle and a mattress . The move to Poole was three years ago tomorrow . I still cannot believe what a state I was back then :rotfl:
Yesterday, the shower was losing hot water pressure . Everything else boiler related is fine . Not sure if it's boiler related or not . However, it seemed ok this morning . When one thing gets fixed, something else goes wrong . I'll just keep an eye on it and see what's what .
Tomorrow I have another appointment with mr trainer, who should have my results . He will be interviewing me tomorrow . Not for a job, but I will be filmed discussing my body achievements and goals .
He is allowing me to have rye bread , as my diet isn't the greatest .
Tomorrow I have to see the job coach in the afternoon . Another box ticked for them . On Tuesday I have job club again .
What was annoying is that on the indeed website I couldn't alter my cv in spite of going through the instructions of repeatedly putting my job titles in the various jobs I had .
Today , I finally had to abandon the idea of uploading the cv that the lady at job club did for me . I decided to erase everything and create my own cv the indeed way ! Talk about a pita. Still it gives me something to discuss with the job coach tomorrow and the person at job club on Tuesday . Having said all of that, I may as well type out a new cv on my iMac sometime later on and give that to the job coach , unless it can be transferred to my universal credit journal directly .
Learning how to not hate so many job people , governments and parties is proving very difficult and you can understand why .
Still, it's best to keep looking forward ...0
