That would be a shame. I enjoyed meeting up with AC and the regulars!

But I hope his absence isn't due to illness or something.

Hello again . Thought I'd best update what's been going on .:o
Thanks for all of your good wishes and concerns etc .
TBH , I was looking at the amount of pages on this diary, and was wondering if people have been losing interest . Understandable .
Anyway , I might as well list a few things while I'm back on this page;) :

Training still going on . Still plusses . Crisps gone for now . Approx a month without them . Unfortunately , bread is back. I have the healthiest , but bread is bread and I'm having that first thing in the morning which apparently is the best time to have the wrong stuff.
One target I have is to lose 3 stone and I think that's the furthest I can go. Looking at everything , I was almost 25 stone last year
I'm just over 20 stone now. I'm 6 foot . So if I can do 17 stone I think that'll be amazing . It is and will be difficult so we'll see...

I have been walking more . That windy day on Saturday was a great day for doing that. This area has lots of hills and potholes .
Unlike London which seems to have lots of knives and s**holes
    Sorry :D

I received two chairbeds from made .com for occasional guests .
Not sure if they were a mistake or not , as they are singles and not doubles . Having said that , one of them is in the music room which I have finally sorted . More on that later. They are very bright orange .
They actually take my weight lying down . I didn't sleep on them as I don't want to tempt fate too much . More on that later also.
I'm due a visit this month from my sisters and they will tell me if getting them was a good or bad move . Having said that , the other one replaces my chair where I put my clothes on at bedtime .

Regarding my myasthenia gravis abd overall well-being :
. Well, it fluctuates as always . On Sunday , I decided to finally attempt to paint one wall in the hallway . I was sweating a rain forest
I persisted as always . I had a pot of once paint from durex. Horrible stuff. Like mixing cement with custard . Looking at the result yesterday , I decided to put one coat of ordinary durex emulsion and that was much easier. So, two coats in two days .
My legs were painful as if I was doing major legwork at the gym .
It was my first attempt at painting since 2 years ago. I'm still heavy and my energy still shot . Oh, and plasterboard is a pita to paint also

Medication ..problems of late . One of my medicines is not available at Lloyd's pharmacy near me. I got it from boots in Poole back in May 2 months supply . I managed to get through to them and it is not ongoing so I had to visit my surgery where it was sorted out .
There is one calcium tablet I take twice a day . Unfortunately , the one made / supplied by Alissa healthcare has changed. It tastes like garlic / onions and is vile . I took one yesterday and threw up.Blood pressure went straight to my head .
I had to ask surgery to revert back to evacal D3. Hopefully that is ok

Universal credit - I'm a bit apprehensive about what awaits me in the coming weeks . I'm due to report back to see job coach on 5 sept for "further evidence ". Although the appointment is still pencilled in , I have sent the capability for work form last month and am waiting for probable assessment and possible change of appointment .
    It's a bit depressing to comment further , so I won't .

The neighbours upstairs : Bizarrely , they have been very quiet for over a month ,and we are now halfway into the summer holidays .
I won't rest on my laurels or Hardy's , but so far so good .
I noticed on one of their letters yesterday that they are using the address as a business address , with a company name on it .
The other neighbours are good as gold .
I was getting restless about the situation a while back and was thinking of moving the computer into the front room and make the music room a place for dumping my stuff instead . As they've been quieter upstairs , I've actually got out of a rut , tidied it up and am using it again .

I'm making progress on the clutter , and have bought a cheap shoe storage pouch for underbed storage . I have to find a place for my scented candles . Won't need anymore for a couple of years at least.
I hope to win the storage wars battle this week.

I think that's enough for now . Thanks again, and have a good week :)...

Good to see you back AC. I'm certainly not losing interest!

Losing 5 stone is brilliant! I agree that losing another 3 stone would be good.
I snorted when I read what paint you were using! We've used Valspar from B&Q for our last few decorating jobs, and found that's pretty good, only 1 coat needed.
Re the neighbours using the place as a business address, I would be nosy and look it up!
That calcium tablet sounds nasty. You'd just expect it to either have no smell, or smell like chalk, not onions and garlic! Urgh, reminds me of when my ex used to take garlic capsules. Instead of swallowing them whole, he chewed them! I could even smell he'd had one, when he was upstairs, and I was downstairs! I love the taste of garlic, in food, but not keen on the stink.

Oh, I got my holiday booked! (Don't remember if I'd said before.) We're going to Weymouth for a change, but I found a house right by the beach, a couple of miles from Weymouth itself, so it should be a bit quieter. So, that'll be at the end of September. With it being that bit further west of Swanage, we can explore some different places. I'm still planning on going back to Swanage next year though!

Good to see you posting again AC :)

I agree with Gigervamp 5 stones is amazing. I did not know it was that much. What an achievement.
Your health improvements are something to be proud of.

Well done for giving the painting a go. I'm thinking of decorating a small room. The walls need stripping and prepping first but the size of the room gives me hope that I can do it.

Gigervamp has a holiday coming up. (Sounds nice) Are you planning a holiday?

Good to see that you're going to Weymouth soon gigervamp .
When my sisters both visited here on the aug bank holiday , it was too busy to take them to Bournemouth . I think we'll go to Weymouth for a day out if they visit this month .
I haven't been on a proper holiday for over 20 years . Mainly due to being single , and paying bills . Sounds sad I know :rotfl: I have been on weekend breaks , and visiting my parents in Southern Ireland every year till 2015. I often think of going on European train journeys
    Maybe one day..

I did have a look about the business upstairs . Basically it has only been going since aug 7th. 1 active director . Private ltd co. With share capital .Retail sale of bread, cakes, flour confectionery and sugar confectionery in specialised stores. The communal area often smells of a tandoori restaurant . If it smells like chocolate , then that would be a massive improvement.

Regarding the calcium tablets : if it's not broken , don't fix it .
It took me a while to find out what tablet was causing the problem ,as I take them all together.

I have a session with mr trainer tomorrow , as he postponed Monday.
Fair enough. That's in the morning . In the afternoon , I have to go to Poole hsp regarding my wisdom tooth . Not sure if it's to have a look, or to have the operation there and then. It's a tooth that hasn't quite grown and is hidden . Not looking forward to that . Oh, it's gonna rain heavily with strong winds all day ...
  • Hope the tooth appointment goes well.

What about planning a train trip to somewhere in Europe? You could easily go by yourself.
You'll probably meet people doing the same thing. My brother used to turn up at the airport and get short notice flights that were cheap and just go off for a few days on his own. he had great fun :)

That reminds me of when I was a teen, on Saturdays, my friends and I used to get a Red Bus Rover ticket, (basically a one day travelcard) and hop on the first bus that came along, then got off at some point, and get the next first bus, etc. It was a great way of exploring and getting to know London.

Welcome back AC, and thanks for the updates. As you can see no-one is losing interest.

I hope the hospital appt. went okay, my old teeth are giving way gradually and I also have a wisdom tooth just like yours, not looking forward to the day when age overcomes teeth and they all or nearly all, need to come out.
