Hmm, he shouldn't have used pics of you without asking for your consent, unless it's in the T&Cs that you signed. I'd be very miffed about that.
If you are on FaceBook, you can go into your settings and set it so you can't be tagged in photos. I suggest you do that.0 -
Thanks gigervamp . I very rarely use Facebook , so I'll have to remember how to do that . It's on his testimonial page on his Facebook page . Apparently nobody I know can see it until I add him as a friend . I'll look into it when I'm in the right frame of mind to do so.0

few pointers i picked up from the last few pages.
the UC printing sounds expensive if your signed up to the auto refill services.
you can get "compatible inks" for any printer these days, for a big saving!
eg my canon inks from canon would be over 100. for a set of 5.
buying compatible ones i pay around 20 for the 5.
the outdated horror stories of them breaking printers etc are well just that, sooo outdated.
i have had this printer 6 years or more and only ever used one set of original inks. and aside from a print head clean (take it out and wash it with plain water). its been fine.
also the site that has albums for less than a dollar, thats almost certainly, illegal.
they will have nicked the albums (or pay full price once) and then selling on for a small price. but it'll all be 100% profit for them.
of course that depends on your moral compass, im just pointing that out. same as you can get around not paying for office software or photoshop etc..
some are morally fine with that, some think they should pay the going rate and be legally on the right side.0 -
Good points about the ink and downloads DB .
Regarding the downloads . I've bought the same albums more than once legally and tbh imho us consumers are taken for mugs these days . I'll still buy CDs as I always do . I've even still got vinyl , but if there are rarities or blatant corporate goings on I'll use this site when needed .
So , I bought one of those large mail pouches from the post office for £1.50 to post my medical life story off to the gvt . Thankfully and surprisingly , I I didn't have to pay for postage. I got proof by receipt at no extra charge . So I'll see what gives in the coming weeks.
My right eye is swollen . The left eye was the one which was/is the initial problem . Looks like I'll have to make an appointment with the DR.

I use the compatible ink cartridges for my Epson printer - I get them off Ebay. They are fine as long as you don't want to print photos. For the stuff I print, the odd letter, a recipe off the internet etc., they are perfect.Debt free and Keeping on Track0

Thanks DIA:)
I've started to look at other things also . I cancelled premium Dropbox last week. Yesterday , I decided to cancel Netflix also .
With Netflix it's something I should've done long ago . I will use it now and again , but tbh when you keep your eyes off of things like this , the direct debits can be treated like energy bills and become a bad habit if that makes sense .
Looking at these traps set by the likes of sky/ virgin / bt etc I could be sucked into reality tv with the odd big show thrown in here and there plus sports . I'm bored of mercenary footballers , overrated personalities like James condom or Miranda Hart . That Idris elbow is everywhere too . Best to save where I can ..0 -
Yes AC it is the regular S/Os and DDs that drain your money so I try and make annual payments where I can and cut out all the subscriptions I can. That said life is for living so some frivolous spending may be necessaryIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. I suspect AC finally finds no value in consulting the oracles...hopefully the future for him is full of good fortune and better health.0
