France has taken legal steps to investigate Apple and their slowdowns. Back in 2014 research was done that illustrates the link between new releases and slow iPhones.0 -

If your phone has a bit of water damage but works, will they still change the battery for £25?0 -
Anyone get their iphone 5s battery changed under the £25 replacement scheme. I know its not on the list at moment. My battery died last year when i updated to new operating system and i have been in dispute with apple since then. On Monday i had a phone call from Apple and they agreed to replace it for £25 and made me appointment with my nearest apple store to have it done. When i got there they refused to do it for the £25 as quoted! I have never been so embarrassed in my life!! Any suggestions?0

Avoid Apple products.0

Yes, I did it online.
You need to pay an extra £7 shipping - but they replaced the battery in my 5S for a total of £30.
In fact they completely replaced the 5S for whatever reason.0 -

You think?
When a company underhandedly manipulates its vastly over-priced products to scam its customers and then (when caught out) applies a sham excuse to cover its tracks (at the same time making it out to be some sort of altruistic favour) I won't buy from them.0 -

When a product is a similar price to the products of its closest direct competitors it’s an industry wide problem, not an individual company.
It isn’t just Apple that thinks phones should be sold for £700-£1000 anymore...====0 -
It's not just the price; it's the underhand way they cheat customers and try to cover it up.0
