Keep Moving Challenge for 2018

I am amazed and very pleased with myself. Having considered that I would be in a holding position having measured my steps since 2015 and being over 70 years of age.
BUT, BUT, BUT.
First quarter 2018 I have exceeded my 2017 first quarter by 30%.
A number of special reasons perhaps and I will see as the year unfolds.
However one of those may be that my wife has this year become interested in my step numbers. Perhaps I have something to prove?
Just wait till she catches you up gf, then you'll find yourself doing 70% more;)Just 35.6 miles for me this week, but that's to be expected as I am cutting back the miles as part of a taper for Manchester Marathon next Sunday.
571.0 miles for the year to date.
Good luck with the run, it starts just up the road from where I work.0 -

Thanks .. tbh I am more worried about getting to the start line than I am about the run! Never been on a tram before and the trams don't seem to make sense. Why couldn't they call the lines something like the london underground so you know which line you are getting on?
I'm so unorganised that I don't actually know what time the race starts yet, but I do have my number and know which starting pen I am in so that's a step in the right direction.“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0 -
When at work, I walk across tram lines all the time as I trundle round on the morning dog walk, but apart from getting one once about 15 years ago, I've no idea. I don't think they are particularly hard to fathom once you are on the station!0

35.1 miles this week. That is the most I have ever managed to do. My total for the year so far is 428.57 miles. Very happy!0

It went well for 20 miles then fell to bits.. but I still managed to do sub 3 hrs so it wasn't a total disaster.
Trams were dead easy actually, thanks.
31.9 miles for me this week bringing me up to 607.5 miles for the year. Next week will be about 10 miles as I am now resting my leg in a hope that I can actually take the time to get my injuries better!!“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0 -
41.10 miles to add for me for the last week.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600

A grand total of around 7 miles this week.
Taking a couple of weeks off running to get all of my injuries better before I get back at it.
610.4 miles to date.
Although I have cycled around 100 miles this week as that doesn't impact on my injury.“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0 -
A bit better week for me 49.70 miles.
So close to the 50 mile I would have prefered but not grumbling.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
Might as well check in today, due to trying to rest the injury, just 3 miles to add. I won't be running tomorrow, so just going to do a long cycle on the turbo trainer whilst watching the marathon.“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0
