If I had been told at the start of this year that I would average over 11 miles a day, I would never have believed it but with only 2 days to go, it looks like I will be doing just that
78.8 miles for the last full week of the year :T0 -
Last day folks  last chance for that final push for your targets.0

My target for the year was 1500 miles. I’ve ended the year on 1678 miles (for someone who only started walking again late last year, I’m happy with that).
Looking forward to next year’s challenge! Happy New Year everybody.0 -
Well done all of you!
I'm guessing it won't be a good start to the NY as soon as I finish my mug of hot water with honey, lemon and ginger, I'm off to bed. *sniff, cough* #sorocknrollnot0 -
So my last fitbit report of the year and I have 36 miles to add.

Thank you all for joining me this year and well done to everyone just for keeping moving :T
Already logged 3 miles on the 2019 callendar so I'll see you all over there :T0 -
I have been measuring my steps everyday since I turned 70 years old using Google Fit on my smart phone. I believe this is one of many ways that I am trying to keep fit and mobile.
2015 was my first full year and was a baseline and also target per day for the next year.
2016 I had the target in my mind and this helped me to focus on my walking. It also started me to think about public transport and using it a little rather than driving everywhere. The result was I increased that baseline by 31% which gave me a new daily target for the next year.
2017 I used public transport a little more and increased my baseline by 8%. I also thought that I was close to what was going to my NORMAL.
2018 the total suggests I am where I should be as my total was 6% LESS than 2017.
2019 I have reset my target as the average per day of 2018 and I hope in the year I will turn 75 I will keep close to that number.
My very best wishes to everyone in 2019 and to remind myself that you can still have targets even when OLD!There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0
